Get ready to put your strength, endurance, and team spirit to the test at the Shamrock Showdown, a local team competition happening at Beer City CrossFit on Saturday, March 29th! Gather your crew, bring your energy, and prepare for a day filled with fun, fitness, and friendly rivalry.
Teams will face off in a series of challenging WODs designed to test every skill level—whether you're a seasoned competitor or new to the sport. This St. Patrick’s Day-inspired event will feature:
🍀 Exciting Team Workouts tailored to all skill levels: Rx, scaled, and a "No Barbell" division
🍀 A festive, community-driven atmosphere complete with music, food, and drinks

Thruster Ladder on a 15 minute clock
score = time if completed, if time remaining, build to a 1RM.
Each partner must do all reps:
10 @ 135/95
8 @ 155/105
6 @ 175/115
4 @ 185/125
2 @ 195/135
Remaining time, build to 1RM
*Both partners must complete half of the reps during each round.
**tie-breaker = time to finish the whole ladder, tie breaker 2, if needed, is time to finish level 3 (175/115)
Dual Dumbbell/Kettlebell Thruster Ladder on a 15 min clock
score = time
10 @ 35/20
8 @ 40/25
6 @ 45/30
4 @ 50/35
2 @ 55/40
Participants have the full 15 minutes to build to higher weights up to 2 88lb KBs
*Partners must each complete half of the reps at each level before moving up the ladder.
**tie-breaker = time to finish the whole ladder, tie breaker 2, if needed, is time to finish level 3 (45/30)

Max Box Step Overs (24/20) in remaining time (1 partner working at a time)
Score is Box Step Overs accumulated in three rounds time
Three rounds, 3 minutes, 1:00 rest between rounds
10 Buddy Deadlifts (both partners, 1 bar)
