About This Competition
2023 ALLSTAR ALLIANCE PAIRS SERIES
Welcome to the new season of the Allstar Alliance Pairs Master + Teen event.
This is a virtual event from the 29th of August until the 12th of September.
We are excited to announce a new concept to the Allstar Alliance season by intoducing a pairs event that includes one Master plus one Teen.
MASTERS AGE GROUP
35+
To participate in this event you need to be turning 35 before the 30th of November 2023.
TEENS AGE GROUP
13-17
To participate in this event you need to be turning 13 before the 30th of November 2023.
Pairs are to have one 35+ athlete and one 13-17 athlete to make a team to qualify for this event.
DIVISION AND CATEGORIES
The Allstar Pairs Competition will be based on the following Pairs:
MALE MASTER + MALE TEEN
FEMALE MASTER + FEMALE TEEN
MALE MASTER + FEMALE TEEN
FEMALE MASTER + MALE TEEN
The Division standard for teens will be based on 2 age groups and will be provided soon:
13-15
16-17

Workout 1

40-30-20 reps of:
Box Jump Overs
T2B
DB Thrusters
Athletes can share the reps of each movement as they see fit, no min work requirement on each movement.
NOTE: Some divisions will only require to use X1 Dumbbell, you may alternate at any time.

Workout 2
6min Cap
Heaviest UNBROKEN complex
1 Clean
1 Front Squat
1 Thruster
1 Jerk
Score is both athletes best successful complex added together.
Athletes can have a total of 6mins to have as many attempts as they need, in any order, changing athlete or changing weights up or down as they need.
Partners can help change weights. If Athletes fail a movement they can continue in the complex as long as they haven't released the bar, or it rests on the ground.

FOR TIME
50 Air Squats
30 Push Press
50 Deadlifts
50 Syncro Burpees Over Bar
50 Deadlifts
30 Push Press
50 Air Squats
Athletes can share the reps on the Air Squats, Push Press and Deadlifts. No min work requirement on each movement.
You May have 2 barbells setup, one for the Push Press and another for the Deadlift weight.

Workout 4
3min AMRAP
Max Wall Facing HSPU.
Change working partner as often as needed.
Score is total reps completed by both athletes in 3 mins.
