About This Competition

Same Sex Pairs. Intermediate outdoor Comp.

Four 12 min workouts throughout the day including barbell, dumbell, sandbag and Ergs. Workouts released in August.


Male barbell/sandbag movements 50kg

Male dumbell movements 2x 17.5kg

Female barbell 35kg/sandbag 30kg

Female dumbell movements 2x 12.5kg

Workouts

Athletes have one 35kg barbell and will work through a 12 min AMRAP of:


40 Deadlifts

30 Hang Power Cleans

20 Shoulder to Over head

10 Lateral Burpee Over Bar


Athletes may share reps as they wish.


score = total number of reps

Max bike erg meters In 12 minutes


Part A score = meters

Athlete 1 (part A): Max Bike erg meters

Athlete 2 (part B) 50m sandbag shuttles (30kg)


Each shuttle rep is completed over the line with a chest to sandbag burpee + sandbag over shoulder.


Athletes may swap between bike and shuttles whenever and as many times as they like but will need to complete 1 tyre flip every swap.


One 50m shuttle + chest to sandbag burpee + sandbag over shoulder = 1 rep.


Part B score = total number of reps

12 minutes time cap


Buy in:

50 syncho bodyweight squats


In the remaining time each find a 3 rep max front squat.


Score = weight

3 rounds of:

3 synchro devils press or devil clean and jerk (2x 12.5kg)

6 synchro 50m shuttles

9 synchro situps


into:

100 front rack dumbell lunge (2x 12.5kg)

partner 1 works whilst partner 2 holds dumbells in a farmers hold

*reps will only count whilst dumbells are off the floor.


max rep devil press or devil clean and jerk in remaining time (Reps shared however you like)


score = reps of devil press or devil clean and jerk accumulated in remaining time.


You must both choose one movement and stick with that movement throughout the duration! No switching between devil press and devil clean and jerks
