About This Competition

Northern Championships brings you, TRIPL3X. Same-Sex 3's Live Final!

 

Prepare to test your limits and compete alongside your teammates in our exhilarating live finals. This event is tailored for teams of three athletes of the same sex, showcasing their strength, endurance and teamwork.

Athletes will compete during a one day event on Saturday 25th January 2025 to crown the first ever TRIPL3X champions.

 

Division info and minimum movement standards can be found in the "Divisions" tab. Please note, we have outlined a minimum set of movement standards for each category; this does not mean that we will limit qualifiers and live event workouts to these movements alone.

Workout 5  (7:00)


For time:


200 double-unders (min work requirement is 50 each)

20 sync devils press single arm at 1x22.5/15kg

50/30 muscle ups (5 bar/5 ring)

 

RX - As Above

Intermediate & Masters - Double-Unders, 1x22.5/15kg, 30/20 Bar-Muscle Ups* (split any way)

* In the event you feel you cannot complete any Bar Muscle-Ups within your team then you can opt to do Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups but you will automatically rank lower than any team completing Bar Muscle-Ups. We will not allow a mix of Bar Muscle-Ups and Chest-to-Bar. If you choose to do Bar Muscle-Ups then only Bar Muscle-Up reps will count and vice versa with Chest-to-Bar.

Scaled - Single-Unders, 1x22.5/15kg, Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups** (split any way)

** In the event you feel you cannot complete any Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups within your team then you can opt to do Pull-Ups but you will automatically rank lower than any team completing Chest-to-Bar. We will not allow a mix of Chest-to-Bar and Pull-Ups. If you choose to do Chest-to-Bar then only Chest-to-Bar reps will count and vice versa with Pull-Ups.

For time; 60 thrusters at 80/52.5kg


On the zero and E2MOM complete:

12 toes-to-bar 

12 chest to bar pull ups

25ft handstand walk (unbroken)

 

RX - As Above

Intermediate & Masters - Thrusters 65/45kg, Toes-to-Bar, Chest-to-Bar, Handstand Walk (with break lines)

Scaled - Thrusters 50/35kg, Leg Raises, Pull-Ups, Overhead Walking Lunge
