“March of the Penguins”

Deadlift Ladder - One minute to complete 4 UNBROKEN reps at each bar weight. Bar weights are as follows:

Men - 95#,135#,155# ,185#,225# ,255# ,285# ,315# ,335# ,365#

Women - 55#, 75#, 95#, 125#, 145#, 175#, 195#, 205#, 225#, 255#

The bars will be lined up from lowest weight to highest. Male and Female bars will be lined up side by side. At 3-2-1-Go; each team will have 1 minute to complete 4 Deadlift reps of their assigned weight.  After 4 successful unbroken lifts the team will move forward until reaching the final bar or until unable to complete 4 Unbroken Deadlift reps. At that point whichever team mate failed to complete the 4 reps will be eliminated and their last 4 successful lifts will be recorded. If 1 team mate is still going they can continue until either final bar or unable to complete 4 successful lifts. At that point all successful weights will be written down and turned into score keeper who will combine the two weights for a final score for the team.

If a team or team mate is able to make it to the final bar then they will be required to lift the final weight for max reps as a tiebreaker. Every successful lift after 4 at that final bar in the final minute will then be awarded 5lbs per successful lift.

Singles will be 2 singles to 1 Double Under.  For example if one team member completes 50 Dubs then tags team mate 2 in they must then complete 50 dubs or 100 singles.

The movements will be completed in the order assigned and all reps must be completed before moving on to the next movement in the order.

1 Team Member will stay under the rig at all times. Team members must run back to rig to tag partner for them to begin their reps. Minimum work effort is 5 reps per movement.

Santa’s Helper WOD 2 is wall ball and burpee WOD.  The team will begin with the wall ball on the ground in front of one of the partners.  One partner will then pick up the Wall ball and perform a wall ball toss over the box.  The wall ball toss standards are for the tossing partner must ensure they squat below parallel and toss the ball over the boxes. The rep is completed when the receiving partner has caught the ball. If the receiving partner drops the ball or the ball being tossed hits the boxes then it is considered a no rep. A no rep will also be awarded if the tossing partner doesn’t squat below parallel.

Once the reps have been completed the partners will then step to the side of the box that the judge is on and begin the Synchro Burpees. Synchro Burpees will only be counted if both partners’ chest touch the ground together and they are both standing fully upright together. If one or both partners are not standing with shoulders, hips and knees in line at the top of the burpee it will be a no rep. (i.e. if you are bent forward even slightly at the top and proceed to the ground for the next burpee it will be counted as a no rep).

This wod is only one time thru and has a time CAP of 9 mins. Tie Break will be recorded at the end of 20 Burpees
