LFG Games Same Sex Pairs
About This Competition
Welcome Back to the LFG Games Same Sex Pairs Competition held at CrossFit Braintree in Essex.
This is a same sex pairs functional fitness competition with 2 Categories, Rx & Sacled.
Each pair will take part in 4 workouts throughout the day.
The workouts will be testing for both levels with weights and movements generally seen in most CrossFit/Functional Fitness gyms.
Movement standards and weights you can expect in the competition but not limited to.
RX
9kg male, 6kg female Wall Ball to a 10' & 9' target.
22.5kg male and 15kg female DB('s) from the floor to overhead.
Power Snatch 50kg male and 35kg female.
CLean & Jerk 70/47.5kg
Pull Ups (any style)
Bar Muscle Ups (1 Athlete only)
Box Jumps (Overs) 24"/20"
Double Unders
Scaled
7kg male, 5kg female Wall Ball to a 10' & 9' target.
17.5kg male and 12.5kg female DB('s) from the floor to overhead.
Power Snatch 35kg male and 25kg female.
CLean & Jerk 50/35kg
Pull Ups or Jumping Pull Ups
Box Jumps/Steps Ups (Overs) 24"/20"
Double Unders or Singles.
All movement standards must be clearly met or will result in a no rep.
The competition will start at 9am with Athletes registering between 7:45am to 8:30am.
WOD briefing will take place at 8:30am.
Winners announced with prizes and trophies given out at 5:30pm.

Workouts
4 Rounds For Time: 12 min cap
60 x Double Unders
30 x Wall Balls
15 x Toes To Bar
All work can be spilt however you like.
Score is time taken.
Any reps not completed will result in 1 second being added to the time cap.
Athlete 1 will work from minute 0-8 and they will row 1500m for time.
Athlete 2 will work from minute 9-16 and they will row 200m every other minute. They will perform 4 total rows of 200m each time with a minimum 1 minute rest between efforts. Each 200m will have a 1 minute cap.
There will be a 1 minute rest from minutes 8-9.
Athlete 1 will have 8 minutes to find a heavy complex of:
6 x Deadlifts
4 x Hang Cleans
2 x Deadlifts
Athlete B will start WOD 2 with a Power Output.
Here they will perform as many complexes as they can on minutes 0, 2, 4 & 6.
The Complex is:
3 x Deadlifts
2 x Hang Power Cleans
1 x Front Squat

Male RX 60kg
Female Scaled 30kg
Male Scaled 42.5kg
In a 14 minute time cap, teams will complete 4 rounds of:
10 x Front Squats (35/50kg)
8 x Lateral Burpees over Bar
6 x Power Snatches (35/50kg)
After 4 rounds have been completed they will move onto:
Max reps Bar Muscle Ups / Pull Ups.
Score is total reps completed, including the reps on the 4 rounds.
Tie break will be the time taken for the 4 rounds.
Up & Down
This is a 'For Time' WOD with a 10 minute time cap performed in an IGYG style.
Athlete 1
2-4-6-8-10
SDB Devil Presses

Athlete 2
10-8-6-4-2
KB Goblet Squat

SDB Devil Presses
Athlete 1 will start the workout with 2 x SDB Devil Presses, then move onto 2 x Box Jump Overs, then 2 x KB Goblet Squats. They will then make their way to their team mate where they will tag Athlete 2.
Athlete 2 will then do, 10 x KB Goblet Squats, 10 x Box Jump Overs, 10 x SDB Devil Presses. Once done they will tag Athlete 1 who will perform their same movements as they did in the same order as their first round but add 2 reps.
Athlete 1's reps go up in 2's finishing at 10, 2-4-6-8-10.
Athlete 2's reps go down in 2's starting at 10, 10-8-6-4-2.
