About This Competition
Welcome to THE TRAIN STATION VIRTUAL THROWDOWN SERIES!
We are thrilled you want attend our Mixed Teams of 2 virtual event. Teams will be comprised of 1 Man and 1 Woman in your choice of 3 divisions, Scaled, Masters(35+) and Rx.
COST IS 60$ CANADIAN/TEAM!!!
ALL 4 WORKOUTS WILL BE PRE-ANNOUNCED ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 21ST!
Teams will have 1 MONTH to complete 5 workouts From 12AM Eastern Time on October 1st 2020, to 3PM EST on October 31st, 2020.
If you are in the top 3 teams, you will be required to submit one of your videos in order to validate the scores, no later than 6pm EST October 31st, 2020.
PRIZE POOL WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
10 Teams registered - 400$ Total Prize Pool
20 Teams Registered - 800$ Total Prize Pool
30 Teams Registered - 1200$ Total Prize Pool
40 Teams Registered - 1600$ Total Prize Pool
50 Teams Registered - 2000$ Total Prize Pool
60 Teams Registered - 2400$ Total Prize Pool
If we get Over 60 teams registered, prize pool will be adjusted and event winners will get a cash prize as well!!!

ROUND 5 : 30 HANG SQUAT CLEANS
This workout is a 5 Rounder that repeats 5 movements each round and the cash-out at the end of each round is different.. The Team starts with 20 Deadlifts, T2B, Wallballs, Pull-ups and HSPU, then on the first round completes 30 Squat Snatches. ON the second round you repeat the 20's and at the end of those, complete 30 Burpee Box Jumps. Reps are split in any fashion, no minimum reps.
Score for the workout is the total time. Tiebreak will be completion of the 3rd round.

250 DOUBLE-UNDERS
This workout is a is a down and up style workout and your turning point is the 250 Double-Unders. The Team starts with 50 Box Jump Overs then moves on to KB Overhead Lunges, and so on. Once youcomplete the 50 Wallballs, you then complete 250 Double-unders, and once these are completed, you go back up by doing 50 Wallballs, 40 KB Swings, etc... Muscle-ups can be ring or bar, you choose. Reps are split in any fashion, no minimum reps.
Score for the workout is the total time. Tiebreak will be completion of the 250 DUs.

This workout is a SUNDAY SMASHER type workout. First one is self explanatory, synchronized 1 arm Devil Presses. You must be synchro at the bottom and at the top. Once this one is complete, you rest exactly 3 minutes.
The second part is a you go I go full round workout. Each partner ends up doing 5 rounds each. Partner A starts and completes 5 DB Hang C&Js, 4 OH Lunges, 3 Burpee over DB, 2 single arm DB Deadlift , and finaly 1 DB Squat Snatch. Once this is complete, they tag in their partner and he or she completes a full round. Every movement is perfomed with one Dumbbell. Once this one is complete, you rest exactly 3 minutes.

Last part is completed with 2 dumbbells each. the synchro DB STO are syncro at the top., the synchro T2B are synchro when the feet touch the bar. For the cleans and row, reps can be split up in any fashion.

This workout is a A TEST of Speed and Strength! At the call of 3-2-1...GO, one of the team members will start sitting on the rower and complete a 1000m Sprint! Once completed, the other partner, not sitting on the rower, can be tagged in, and he/she will then complete their 1000m row. Rowers should be set to a Single Distance in order to record the times accurately. Score for this is the total recorded time for both partners combined.

With the remaining time, both partners will use that time to complete a max Front Squat. One person working at a time, tag in partner between sets.. Barbell can be prepared with fist set weight prior to starting the workout. Score for this is the total max combined weight for both partners.
