About This Competition

Welcome athlete!

Carthage Throwdown 2022 is the most awaited functional fitness event organized by Carthage CrossFit.

The competition will take place on October 01 and 02, 2022 at @Carthage CrossFit (58 Bis, rue de industrie, Charguia 1, Tunis).

The event will be over two days full of challenges and strong emotions. Our program will therefore be as follows:
* from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm on Saturday 01/10/2022.
* from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm on Sunday 02/10/2022.

This edition is presented to you with the greatest commitment and the greatest passion of the organizers to offer athletes and all fans of functional fitness a stimulating competition full of challenges and adrenaline.

Many rewards await you whether you are an athlete or a spectator. Games and raffles on site offered by our partners and sponsors will be at the rendezvous.

-Rx Male 18-35
-Rx Female 18-35
-Rx Male Masters +35
-RX Female Masters +35
-Scaled Male
-Scaled Female

The organizing team is working hard to guarantee a fabulous and unforgettable competition for the entire CrossFit community in Tunisia and overseas.

The registration fee for participants in the Rx divisions is 150 dinars / 50 USD and 105 dinars / 35 USD for the Scaled divisions.

"Carthage Throwdown 2022" will include 5 events in total:

-Day 1: 2 events to be announced on: Will be announced soon.
-Day 2: 3 events to be announced on: Will be announced soon.

Only half of the athletes will qualify for the second day.
For the second day, each event will reduce the number of athletes per division.

The standards:

Rx, you must be able to perform the following movements:

-Chest To Bar Pull Up
-Toes To Bar
-Ring & Bar Muscle Up
-Hand Stand Push Up
-Rope Climb
-Hand Stand Walk
-Snatch @ 75kg / 60kg
-Clean and jerk @ 100kg / 70kg

Scaled, you must be able to perform the following movements:

-Piked Push Up
-Jumping Pull Up
-Row
-Snatch @ 35kg / 20kg
-Clean and jerk @ 50kg / 35kg
