About This Competition

As a competition, our aim is to create an extremely high quality experience both to the elite CrossFit athlete and the “every day” CrossFit box member.​ To compete in CrossFit at any level is, as President Roosevelt stated, an act of “daring greatly.” Additionally, the Battle of Mossy Creek aims to bring insight and awareness on the impact and importance of true, historical events that took place in our small town over 150 years ago. Stories of heroes, acts of bravery, and a rich history lie within the rolling hills and banks of Mossy Creek.  We seek to respect and be inspired by that past.

This year the format will be teams of 3.  With 7 events being pairs, and one event as trio.
