2019 CrossFit® Cascade Classic Online Qualifier
About This Competition
The CrossFit® Cascade Classic Online Qualifier is the only pathway into the 2019 main event in Seattle, WA. Earn your spot on the big stage through this 3-week online competition. Two workouts will be released each week for three weeks between June 19th and July 8th. Workouts will be released each Wednesday and scores will be due the following Monday.
The CrossFit® Cascade Classic Online Qualifier is not only a testing ground for those looking for a chance to compete at the main event in Seattle, but it's also a place for your local fitness community to come together and share an experience with athletes from across the country and around the world. We are all better when we strive together.
The top 30 men and women will qualify for the Elite division. Four-person teams consisting of two men and two women will also be taking the competition floor. Teams will have two divisions this year, Rx and intermediate. The intermediate division will have lighter loads for lifting movements as well as no complex gymnastics. The top 30 teams from the qualifier will qualify for the Rx team competition and a chance to earn the team cash prize of $3000. There are also individual Rx, Masters 35-39yrs, 40-44yrs, 45-49yrs, and 50+yrs, Scaled, and Teen spots up for grabs.
The main event takes place in Hangar 30 in Magnuson Park in Seattle, WA on September 21 and 22. There is almost $20,000 in cash payouts for the main event. There are cash prizes for the top 3 overall finishers in Elite, Rx Team, and both Masters divisions. There are also cash payouts for individual event wins.
Qualifier Dates
Week 1: June 19-24
Week 2: July 26-July 1
Week 3: July 3-8
Registration for The ® Cascade Classic Online Qualifier opens on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, 8:00 am PST and closes after the first week of the Qualifier on Wednesday, June 24, 2019, at 5:00 pm PST.
Six workouts will be released, two at a time, over three weeks. Workouts for each week must be completed and submitted by 5pm on the Monday following their release.
Athletes can enter as an individual as well as part of a team; however, if the athlete qualifies as an individual as well as part of a team, they can only accept one invitation to the final EITHER individual or team.
