Temperance Training's 7th Outwork Addiction Fundraiser + Competition Presented by: Intrepid Recovery Center
About This Competition
We are a Florida nonprofit providing FREE fitness classes to people recovering from addiction and their loved ones. OUR MISSION IS TO INSPIRE HEALTH AND HOPE AND TO DE-STIGMATIZE THE DISEASE OF ADDICTION IN OUR SOCIETY. Help us continue to provide a safe, supportive, healthy space!

Choose between Scaled and RX divisions for Guy/Guy & Girl/Girl teams of 2.
Each team will tackle 3 workouts on Saturday, November 16th, 2024. Look for standards on our social media & website to help you choose the right division for you. Workouts will be released shortly before the day of the event.
We will kick things off at 9 am SHARP with the first workout starting at 9:15 am at CrossFit Hype.
Included in your registration are a competition shirt and your very own customizable Give Lively Fundraising page! The individuals that raise the most funds will win PRIZES! The suggested fundraising goal is $300 per person. We thank you in advance for your support and participation!

Workouts
Event 1: "Arm Pump"
3 Rounds for time. Partners may split work as needed.
40 Dumbbell Bench Press
20 Devils Press
10 Overhead Dumbbell Carrys
40 Pull Ups
1 overhead carry= 20ft down + 20ft back
RX:50's/35's
Scaled: 35's/20's, 20 kipping pull ups OR 40 jumping pull ups
At 3-2-1 GO! One athlete begins to chip way at 40 DB bench press. After 40 reps of bench press are completed, athletes will move onto 20 devils press, then 10 overhead carrys, and then 40 pull ups. Athletes may switch out whenever they choose to in any movement. Non working athlete must be tagged in at the bench when a switch is made.
Event 2 "Sprint Triathlon" For Time starting at 0:00
Athlete 1 completes:
40/30 calorie ROW
400m RUN
40/30 calorie ECHO BIKE
Then athlete 2 completes:
40/30 calorie ECHO BIKE
400m RUN
40/30 calorie ROW
-SCALED: 30/20 calories
Event 3 "Know Your Load" For total weight volume lifted
Partners choose their own weight
From 2:00-3:00 on clock partner two Max front squats for total weight lifted
From 15:00-16:00 partner one Max front squats for total weight lifted
This is two events in one. So while one athlete is working on Event 2, athlete two will be working on event 3. They will then switch.
At 3-2-1 GO! Athlete 1 will start to complete:
40 calories for males/ 30 calories for females ROW, then 400m RUN, then 40/30 calories ECHO BIKE.
While athlette 1 is working to complete their portion of "Sprint Triathlon", athlete 2 will begin their portion of Event 3 "Know Your Load" at the 2:00 mark on the clock.
Athlete 2: from 2:00-3:00
Bar will be preloaded on the ground with their chosen front squat weight. They will have 1 minute to clean the weight, and hit as many front squat reps as possible. Dropping the bar to rest within the minute is allowed.
Once athlete 1 completes row, run, and bike, athlete 2 will start their portion of "Sprint Triathlon" in the REVERSE order.
40/30 calorie ECHO BIKE, 400m RUN, then 40/30 ROW
At the 15:00 min mark on the clock, athlete 1 will begin their portion of Event 3 "Know your Load." in the same way as athlete 2: Bar will be preloaded on the ground with their chosen front squat weight. They will have 1 minute to clean the weight, and hit as many front squat reps as possible. Dropping the bar to rest within the minute is allowed.
Event 2 " Sprint Trialthlon" = total time for both athletes to finish
Event 3 "Know Your Load"= total weight lifted. Ex: partner 1- 100lbsx10 reps= 1000lb + partner 2- 200lbsx10 reps= 2000lbs. Score is 3000 lbs.
Event 4 + 5 "SWITCHBACK"
Event 4.) 0:00-6:00
AMRAP 6- max reps toes to bar
Athlete 1: 6 burpee over bar buy in + 1 set max effort toes to bar
-switch-
Athlete 2: 6 burpees over bar buy in + 1 set max effort toes to bar
SCALED: burpee step over bar, toes to midline
Event 5.) LET'S LIFT! 6:00-12:00
6 minutes to each work to a max complex lift
3 deadlifts + 1 hang clean
Event 4.) At 3-2-1- GO! Athlete one will complete 6 lateral burpees over the bar before moving on to one set of max unbroken toes to bar. Once athlete one comes down from their set of toes to bar, athlete two begins 6 lateral burpees over the bar and then one max unbroken set of toes to bar. Athletes will continue to switch for the remainder of 6:00 minutes. Score will be total amount of toes to bar accumulated by both athletes in the 6 minutes.
Event 5.) At 6:00 min on the clock, athletes will load the bar to their choice of a first attempt at 3 touch and go deadlifts+1 hang clean. Bars will be preloaded to 95/65. Athletes do not need to hit the same weight as their partner. Add weight as you need, and take as many attempts in 6 min as you want. Barbell is a complex so it may not be dropped at any time. Score will be the total of both athletes heaviest complex.
