About This Competition
British Masters Championships - Online Qualifiers 2021
On the 25th-28th June, we have an online qualifying style weekend of workouts designed exclusively for Masters athletes aged 30+ from anywhere in the World.
The weekend will provide a qualifying process for both scaled and RXd athletes. RXd athletes will qualify to our in-person 2-day competition in Southampton, on the 11th & 12th September. Due to covid restrictions and limits on the amount of people we can have at the event, scaled athletes will get their own second weekend of competition, where the best can battle it out in an online finals weekend on the 16th-19th July.
Open to 30yrs+ Men and Women, age category is decided by AGE ON DAY of 12th Sept 2021.
Dates
25th-28th June, an online qualifier style weekend for ANYONE, with separate division for scaled and RX'd in each age group, any level of fitness and ability can join in, from anywhere in the world. With a number workouts over the weekend to test different elements of fitness.
11-12th September 2021, is the RXd finals weekend, a 2 - day competition for the top athletes in each RXd age group. This is open to all athletes, but if you are from outside the UK, we strongly suggest that you check your covid-19 travel restrictions.
16-19th July 2021, online scaled finals weekend.

If the finals weekend needs to be cancelled, due to another lockdown or government restrictions changing, we will hold an RXd online finals weekend on the same date.
Please note, T-Shirts are optional EXTRA to buy - click on the merchanidise option if you wish to purchase one. All RXd finalists will receive a finalist tee, which will be included with the fee to participate in the finals in Southampton.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer any refunds but all proceeds will go towards supporting future events for our masters & teens events.
What do I need?
Photographic ID
A judge and video for each workout.
You will need your usual training gear, and any accessories you may need for gymnastics & weightlifting events.
An equipment list required for the online qualifier weekend will be announced ASAP*
Movement requirements for each division will be announced ASAP (before online qualiiers)*

BMC aims to recognise and help develop the future Masters talent in the sport of fitness in a safe, fun environment. Movement standards will always come first and the event organisers always encourage safe, correct movement under the pressure of a competition environment. We want to motivate masters across the world to train and provide a platform for testing of fitness.
