About This Competition
Welcome to The 'Deid Throwdown 4!
Find a partner, pick your division, sign up for a heat, and give it your all on Saturday, December 11th for your chance to be crowned the fittest duo at Al Udeid and win some awesome prizes!
This competition is FREE! If you do not yet have a partner, check out the CF Undisclosed Facebook page to find others who may be looking for partners.

Workouts
Workouts will be completed during your heat time. Check out the workouts at the right hand side of this page! Each team will be assigned a judge to verify full completion of each workout and adherence to standards.
Total Workout Volume
Each partner will undertake approximately 35 minutes of working time and 45 minutes of rest (rest while other partner is working) plus transition time.
Divisions
To determine if you should register as Rx or Scaled, 1) view the workouts and 2) click on the divisions on the right hand side to verify you and your partner meet all required standards.

Workouts
“Kronos - The King of the Titans” - 00:00-20:00
In a 1 Minute "ON" / 1 Minute "OFF" Fashion with a 20 Minute Time Cap:
*1 partner works at a time, alternating minutes between partners:
Rx: 200 Burpee Box Get-Overs as a team (24”/20”)
Scaled: 150 Burpee Box Get-Overs as a team (24”/20")
Get as MANY as you can in 1 min - then switch partner - One partner is working for 1 min, while the other partner rests for 1 min - you both keep going until you get to 200 (or 150 for scaled) reps!
IMPORTANT: You may get over the box any way, but only your feet may come in contact with the box. If you choose to jump over the box, your feet must travel within the bounds of the box while jumping over.
Athletes must finish a rep completely (feet both on ground over box) before the minute is up for it to count. Scores at the time cap will be 20:00 + uncompleted reps (e.g. 189 reps = 20:11).
"Grip and Rip" - 23:00-33:00
In teams of 2, sharing the work as you see fit:
10 Minute AMRAP:
10 Cal Row
10 Toes To Bar (Scaled = Knee Raises)
10 Hang Power Cleans (Rx = 135/95; Scaled = 95/65)
"Thruster Paradise" - 34:00-39:00
MAX combined team reps, completed as an “I go, then you go” in 5 minutes.
Thrusters: (Rx = 135/95; Scaled = 95/65,)
Of Note:
Multiple reps may be completed by a single partner in succession
Squat cleans from the ground are allowed
Hips must descend below the top of the knee in the bottom of the squat
At top, bar is overhead with arms, hips, and knees fully extended
In teams of 2, sharing the work as you see fit;
"Buy-In to the dark side" - 42:00-57:00
15 Minute AMRAP:
2,000 Meter Row Buy in (split between you and your partner in any way)
2 Pull Ups (Scaled = Ring Rows with feet directly below rings)
3 Ground to Overhead (Rx = 135/95; Scaled = 95/65)
4 Box Jump Overs (Rx = 24/20", Scaled = Box Step Overs, 24/20" )
4 Pull Ups
6 Ground to Overhead
8 Box Jump Overs
6 Pull Ups.....
9 Ground to Overhead.....
12 Box Jump Overs.....
(After every round completed, the reps keep increasing as such: + 2 pull ups, +3 ground to overhead and +4 box jumps. Score = Total # of Reps)
"Devil Unders" - 60:00-END
For Time:
Burpee + American KB Swing / Double Unders
(Rx = #53/35 & Double Unders; Scaled = #35/20 & Singles)
30/300 (Scaled = 450 Singles)
20/200 (Scaled = 300 Singles)
10/100 (Scaled = 150 Singles)
*Split work between partners in any way as “you go, I go”. All Burpee + KB Swings must be completed prior to moving onto the single/double unders.
The burpee + KB swing is similar to the “Devil’s Press” movement. Athletes will perform a burpee, then a full American KB swing to complete 1 rep.
