The Hurt Locker - Winter Throwdown 2019
About This Competition
Academy Fitness C.I.C. and Galleon have partnered to bring you ‘The Hurt Locker – Winter Throwdown 2019’. This will be the second year we are running this new and exciting competition on the North Coast of Cornwall. The event will take place on the weekend, January 26th-27th. The competition will be a well rounded test of all elements of fitness.
- A competition to cater for all levels with Scaled, RXD and masters categories.
- Indoor, Same Sax Pairs Events
- Competitors take part in 7 workouts through the weekend which are scored on placings.
- Top 3 teams from each category go through to a final.
Our event is organised and managed by a very experienced event team with experienced judges. Spectators will be asked for a donation to Charity on the door. We will have music, food & drink stalls and many other types of sport & fitness vendors.

The Hurt Locker winter throw-down will cater for all levels of athlete with specific categories designed to best suit the athletes experience and fitness level whilst remaining competitive.
