About This Competition
The Pumpin' Iron Bowl is a unique Team Competition, combining Olympic weightlifting and Powerlifting. Six lifts will be tested: Deadlift, Bench Press, Back Squat, Snatch, Clean & Jerk, and Overhead Squat.
ALL-INCLUSIVE….EVERYONE CAN JOIN!
The event will be an amazing time and atmosphere for athletes of all lifting levels to compete for fun and PRs! There are no qualifiers, so grab your friends, create a team and come have fun!
DIVISIONS:
The 2022 Pumpin' Iron Bowl will feature 2 divisions; athletes must be 18+:
· Male Teams (2 Males)
· Female Teams (2 Females)
WORKOUTS:
The Pumpin' Iron Bowl is a Super Total Team Event!
Athletes will be competing in teams of 2, with 1 athlete completing each event: Deadlift, Bench Press, Back Squat, Snatch, Clean & Jerk and Overhead Squat.
Athletes will be given 4 minutes to complete each event; there is no limit on the number of attempts that may be made within the 4 minutes. Athletes may receive assistance from their teammates loading the barbell.
SCORING:
For each event, the score earned will be the highest successful lift for the athlete.
Additionally, the Wilks (Powerlifiting) and Sinclair (Olympic weightlifting) co-efficients will apply.
The final score is the total points earned from all six events!
REGISTRATION will close at 11:59 pm Sunday, April 30th or upon reaching full capacity.
CHECK-IN:
All athletes must be present to check in and weigh between 6:00-7:00 am.
Athlete brief at 7:00 am.

OTHER:
No Take-Backs – Life happens—we totally get that. But please be aware that if you cannot participate in the weekend’s events, we cannot offer a refund for any reason.
Trading Places – You can substitute an athlete up until the day of competition!
T-Shirts - Are included in your teams' registration until the shirt deadline, which is Wednesday, April 20th at 11:59 pm.

Workouts
Teams will have 6 minutes to find a max Back Squat for each of the 2 competing athletes.
The two maxes will be averaged for a team score. This score, along with the average weights of the competing athletes, will be entered into the Wilks formula to get points earned for the event.
Teams will have 6 minutes to find a max Bench Press for each of the 2 competing athletes.
The two maxes will be averaged for a team score. This score, along with the average weights of the competing athletes, will be entered into the Wilks formula to get points earned for the event.
Teams will have 6 minutes to find a max Clean & Jerk for each of the 2 competing athletes.
The two maxes will be averaged for a team score. This score, along with the average weights of the competing athletes, will be entered into the Sinclair formula to get points earned for the event.
Teams will have 6 minutes to find a max Deadlift for each of the 2 competing athletes.

Teams will have 6 minutes to find a max Snatch for each of the 2 competing athletes.
