About This Competition
Beginners at their very first experience, intermediate competitors and elite athletes play side by side on the same game floor… It’s much more than a race, it’s a fest for hundreds of fitness enthusiasts.

Rulebook
General info:
Finals: May 20th & 21st
Location: Giarmata Mare, Timis county
The venue is Sala Sporturilor Giarmata a sport facility in Giarmata Mare, Timis county. It has a large 5000 square meter area where all of the competition will take place. It will have multiple arenas (inside and outside).
There will be vendors, informational booths, food vendors, coffee vendors and a whole bunch of health and fitness activities going on at the venue: jiu-jitsu classes, yoga classes, crossfit classes and weightlifting corner.
For RX category there will be online qualifications: see qualifications event: https://competitioncorner.net/events/9679. All athletes qualified in the Finals will receive an e-mail to confirm their presence in the on-site event.
General Individual prices:
For Advanced & Scaled:
60 euros in March
70 euros in April
80 euros until 12nd of May
For RX:
online qualification fee 40 euros + confirmation fee
Categories and standards:
Whatever your ability level and age, you can compete live in the right category for you. To make sure you choose the category that best suits your level of fitness, refer to the following indicative standards:
- Scaled (18 years old and over): this category is adequate for beginner athletes eager to test their new learned skills.You should be able to control most of the crossfit scaled open movements and be able to perform gymnastics, weightlifting and odd objects exercices of low-moderate difficulty and moderate volume .
- Advanced (18 years old and over): this category is adequate for advanced athletes among their first competitions.You should be able to control most of the crossfit rx open movements and be able to perform gymnastics, weightlifting and odd objects exercices of moderate-high difficulty and low-moderate volume.
- RX (18 years old and over): this category is adequate for competition experiences athletes.You should master all crossfit rx open movements, but not limited to.You should be able to perform high level, high volume gymnastics, weightlifting and odd objects exercises.
Qualifiers for RX category only: March 05th till April 30rd
Available slots:
For the 2023 edition of the Fittest Freakest Festival there are 170 slots for three individual divisions (RX, Advanced and Scaled):
- Scaled M/F: 35/25
- Advanced M/F: 35/25
- RX M/F: 30/20
The number of available slots could be varied to meet the actual demand for registration for each category.
There will be a team category for Parent&kid. For infomation about this category please send us an e-mail.
Competition schedule:
A two day, live competition, with up to 9 individual scored event depending on the division you're in.
To spice up things a bit the workouts from the finals will be partially released before the event! Hints and uncompleted information will be made available at the beginning of May. Stay posted :)
All athletes will perform both days, most of the/all of the workouts scheduled for each category, there may be cuts.
