About This Competition
The Granite Games Throwdown gives athletes new to competition an opportunity to challenge themselves and have a blast doing it!
Our 2-person, same gender team setup allows you to step out onto the competition floor with your best lifting buddy to experience the best of both worlds: all the fun of competition, without that nerve-wracking feeling of going it alone!

Scaled: For those who are new to competing, share a common goal of functional fitness, and are working toward mastering their skills
Intermediate: The perfect fit for athletes who love the thrill of competition and have a passion for functional fitness, but who don’t typically Rx daily workouts and may not have yet mastered all movements.

To set you up for success when you arrive onsite, here’s what you need to know:
Check- In - All athletes must check in at 8am, or 7pm the night before. Athlete briefing will occur at 9am sharp.
Where Am I Going? – Check-in occurs at the front desk of facility, through the main entrance.
Parking – There's plenty of parking available!
Come Prepared – You’ll need to provide a valid ID to complete check-in. Athletes should bring their gym bag with necessities.
We will have a Physical Therapist onsite to assist with taping, but we recommend bringing your own tape/pre wrap etc. We will have a large warm up area, with all equipment already on site to warmup with.
No Take-Backs – Life happens—we totally get that. But please be aware that if you cannot participate in the weekend’s events, we cannot offer a refund for any reason.
Trading Places – You can substitute an athlete up until registration closes on Saturday, February 10th. Please note they will receive the tee/tank ordered by the original participant.

15 Minute AMRAP 250 meter row 10 burpees over rower Partner 1 completes a full round then Partner 2 completes a full round
