About This Competition

Get Ready—The Open is Here!

The CrossFit Open is a three-week celebration of fitness, community, and personal growth—packed with energy and excitement! It’s your chance to challenge yourself, break new barriers, and connect with fellow CrossFitters. At CrossFit Framework, our Intramural Open brings the fun to the next level by drafting participants into three teams, all competing for the coveted title of Intramural Champs.

How It Works: 

  • Each Thursday at 1 PM MDT, CrossFit HQ announces a new workout for the week.
  • You’ll be drafted onto one of our three Intramural teams. This is your team to compete with and earn points for to win the CrossFit Framework Intramural Open. Your team will also be in charge of hosting one of the three Friday Night Lights.
  • We will be hosting three Friday Night Lights events from 5:30 PM to roughly 8:00 PM—a community event where everyone can complete the workout and cheer each other on. Registration for time slots will open Friday at 9 AM, with slots varying depending on the workout.
  • You’ll have until Monday at 6 PM to complete the workout and submit your score.

Event Dates:

  • Friday, February 28th – Open Workout #1
  • Friday, March 7th – Open Workout #2
  • Friday, March 14th – Open Workout #3

Cost & Registration:
The CrossFit Framework Intramural Open is completely FREE to join this year. We’ll be using Competition Corner to track scores and team points.

Your team Captains will be introduced very soon! Register by Thursday February 20th! The Team draft will be done on Friday February 21st to allow the first team time to prepare to host their Friday Night Lights on February 28th!

3 lateral burpees over the dumbbell
3 dumbbell hang clean-to-overheads
30-foot walking lunge (2 x 15 feet)

*After completing each round, add 3 reps to the burpees and hang clean-to-overheads.
