Workouts
This workout begins with all four athletes standing behind the start line. At the call of “3, 2, 1, …Go” two athletes will enter the competition floor to begin accumulating 80 Wall Balls. One athlete will work (Athlete 1) while the other athlete (Athlete 2) maintains an overhead plate hold. The other two athletes will be resting behind the start line on the outside of their workout area. Athlete 1’s reps will not count until Athlete 2 has their respective plate overhead in a locked-out position. If the plate comes down from the overhead position, any Wall Ball repetition will not count. Athletes may switch in and out at will but must make physical contact or “tag in and out” with their teammates if they are entering/leaving the competition floor. Athletes already on the floor can swap movements back and forth as they see fit without making physical contact to tag in/out. Once 80 Wall Ball repetitions are completed, the team will move on to completing the same number of reps for Toes To Bar/Hanging Knee Raises. Athlete 1 will accumulate reps and Athlete 2 will hang from the pull-up bar in a locked-out position with feet off of the floor. Once 80 Toes To Bar/Hanging Knees Raises are completed, the team will work to complete 80 Burpees To A Plate. While one athlete accumulates reps, the other will maintain a Medicine Ball Squat Hold. After these reps are completed, the team will move on to accumulating 80 Pull-Ups/Ring Rows. Athlete 2 will hold a plank. Once 80 Pull-Ups/Ring Rows are completed, all four athletes will enter the floor. Two athletes will begin to accumulate 80 calories on both rowers while the other two athletes maintain a Rig Sit (wall sit on the rig). Pairings of athletes do not need to remain consistent throughout the workout. If at any point the non-working athlete on the floor (Athlete 2) comes down or stops their static hold, the reps that Athlete 1 are completing will not count. If on the rower, the athlete rowing must stop pulling if the other athlete breaks the hold.
If a team reaches 80 calories on one rower, but not the other before time is up, one athlete must maintain a Rig Sit while the other two rest until either time runs out or the next round is started.
This workout begins with all four athletes standing outside of their given box/lane. After the call of “3, 2, 1…go,” two athletes, one male and one female will step over the line and over to their assigned pre-loaded barbells to perform the Snatch Complex of 2 Hang Snatches and 1 Snatch. The two non-working athletes will remain outside of the assigned lane/box. Both athletes will have 6 minutes to establish a max lift. Athletes must declare the weight on their bar to their judge before performing the lift. Upon reaching the 6-minute mark, working athletes will switch places with non-working athletes. Two new athletes, one male and one female will enter the competition floor and will perform the Clean Complex of 2 Hang Cleans and 1 Clean. Both athletes will have until the 12-minute mark to establish a max lift. Prior to the beginning of the workout, barbells will remain pre-loaded. Barbells may remain pre-loaded for the next two athletes entering the competition floor for the Clean Complex.
Athlete’s may not leave their assigned lanes while performing lifts. Even if an athlete completes a lift, but has stepped over the line of their designated area, it will be a no-lift or no-rep.
Any lift initiated before the 6:00 and 12:00 time caps will count towards the team’s score. Any style Snatch or Clean is permitted (Squat or Power).
Athletes will complete the workout in the following order: Male/Female/Male/Female.
This workout begins with all 4 athletes standing behind their assigned lane and Start line. At the call of “3, 2, 1…Go,” the first male athlete will move to the Assault Bike and accumulate 12 calories. The athlete will then move to the dumbbells and complete 12 Double Dumbbell Deadlifts. When 12 Double Dumbbell Deadlifts are completed, the athlete will move to the box with their dumbbells and perform 12 Double Dumbbell Box Step-Overs at the prescribed height. When 12 Double Dumbbell Box Step-Overs are complete, the athlete will move back with their dumbbells to perform 12 more Double Dumbbell Deadlifts. After the second set of 12 Double Dumbbell Deadlifts is complete, the athlete will move back to the Assault Bike and complete 12 calories. When 12 calories are complete, the athlete will dismount the Assault Bike and step forward to the Finish mat. As soon as athlete one has both feet over the Finish line, the first female will be released to begin her workout. The female athlete will follow the same pattern however they will be required to complete 9 calories at the beginning and end on the Assault Bike. When the first female athlete completes the workout and reaches the Finish line, the second male will be released at the start line to begin the workout. The athlete will follow the same pattern as the first male athlete. When the second male athlete completes the workout and reaches the finish line, the second female athlete will be released to begin the workout. The athlete will follow the same pattern as the first male athlete. Time will be called when the second female athlete crosses the finish line.
