South East Summer Series 2026

Hosted by CrossFit TwentyThree & The Yard Peckham
The South East Summer Series is back for year two and it’s set to be bigger, better, and louder than ever!
This is a community-driven CrossFit competition bringing together athletes from CrossFit TwentyThree and The Yard Peckham for a full day of training, competition, and connection across two gyms.
Event Format
-Teams of 4 (2 Male, 2 Female)
-Divisions: Rx & Everyday (Scaled) open to all levels
-4 workouts across 2 locations
-Workouts range from 12–20 minutes
-Tests include: strength, engine, gymnastics, and mixed modal

Morning (9:00 – 12:00)

The Twist
This isn’t your standard competition.
Teams will commute between gyms in a fun, creative way, with a twist to be revealed on the day.
Expect this to be a key part of the challenge.

Entry Details
Limited to 24 teams
Open to members of CrossFit TwentyThree and The Yard Peckham only
All athletes must be registered via Competition Corner
Full workout standards and details will be released ahead of the event
Refund Policy
All entries are non-refundable.
If the event sells out, we recommend arranging a private resale with another team (see substitution policy below).
Substitutions
Team substitutions are allowed up until 7 days before the event.
All changes must be communicated to the organisers in advance.
All teams must remain in the correct division and maintain the 2 male / 2 female format.
What to Bring
-Training gear (including appropriate footwear for both gym floors and commute)
-Water bottle
-Snacks / food for the day
-Any personal equipment you prefer (grips, belt, skipping rope etc.)
What NOT to Bring
-No alcohol during the competition
-No pets inside the gym spaces
-No glass bottles
-Alcohol will be available at the afterparty only.
Parking & Travel
Both venues have limited parking available. We strongly recommend:
-Using public transport
-Cycling or travelling actively (this will also help with the event commute 👀)
-Full parking details and addresses will be sent closer to the event.

Who can enter?
This event is exclusively for members of CrossFit TwentyThree and The Yard Peckham.
Is this suitable for beginners?
Yes. The Everyday division is designed to be accessible for all levels.
Do we have to travel between gyms?
Yes. The commute is a key part of the event and must be completed by all teams.
Can we choose our heats?
Heats will be assigned and shared prior to the event.
Can friends come and watch?
Absolutely! Spectators are encouraged and help make the day what it is.
This isn’t just a competition.
It’s a full day of training, community, and energy across two gyms, finishing with a proper celebration.

Each team will receive:

Your mission is to inflate and transport all items from The Yard Peckham to CrossFit TwentyThree during The Commute.
Teams may walk, run, cycle, scoot or travel however they choose, provided the journey is completed safely, legally and in an environmentally friendly manner.
How to Win
Along the route, capture one photo or short video that best showcases your team’s:

-The best use of your inflatable

The complex must be completed unbroken, with athletes moving directly from one movement to the next without dropping the barbell.
