About This Competition
HEALTHAPE FITNESS PRESENTS BATTLE OF THE APES SAME SEX PAIRS.
Workout Standards
As a guide all team members should be able to:
RX:
PULL UPS/T2B/KIPPING HSPU (Both partners)
BMU/RMU (at least 1 partner)
All DB Movements with 22.5/15kg DB (Both partners)
All KB Movements with 24/16kg KB (Both partners)
DU's
Sandbags (70/50kg)
Barbell Cycling (clean and jerk - 70/47.5kg)
Scaled:
Assisted Pull ups/Knee raises (at least 1 partner)
All DB Movements with 15/10kg DB (Both partners)
All DB Movements with 16/12kg KB (Both partners)
Single skipping
Sandbags (50/30kg)
Barbell Cycling (clean and jerk - 50/35kg)
The above movement standards are only guidelines to give you an idea of which category is best for you.
What to expect on the day(s)
Day 1 - Saturday 6th July 2024
The battle of the RX Males and Female teams !
Day 2 - Sunday 7th July 2024
The battle of the SCALED Males and Female teams !
Expect three challenging WODs - These will be released prior to the day so follow us on Instagram - @healthape.fitness
Also, top 3 Male and Female pairs PER day will make it to the final battle where all scores will be zeroed to fight for a podium place!
Parking - Available on site and free car park within walking distance
Food Vendor on the day - to be confirmed !

Tickets are non-refundable - (in the event of the entire team needing to withdraw, you can arrange re-allocation of tickets to a new team up to 7 days before the event begins - just make sure to contact us)

3,2,1 go both athletes have 5 mins to warm up. Then remaining 7 mins both have 3 lifts each only
