The London Throwdown (Same sex 3's scaled)
About This Competition
The London Throwdown due to popular demand brings the return of spin off same sex 3's competition aimed this time at the scaled athletes. If you have competed at our same sex pairs last year then you will know exactly what to expect.
No Gymnastic movements
Weightlifting: Deadlift 80/55kg Clean 60/40kg, Jerk 50/35kg, Snatch 42.5/25kg
Kettlebells 16/12kg
Dumbells 15kg/10kg
Cardio on tap
You can expect some workouts to be released the week prior the event but most liekly they will be the evening before to prevent preparation. There are no qualifiers for any of our events.
Please be aware upon ticket purchase no refunds can be offered although we can transfer tickets to an alternative team captain and change athletes should you wish to resell.

Workouts
In a 12 minute window:
0 - 4 mins Athlete 1 Builds to a heavy Clean
4 - 8 mins Athlete 2 Builds to a heavy Snatch
8 - 12 mins Athlete 3 Builds to a heavy GTOH
Note: All lifts can be performed as a squat or power.
Only the chosen lifter can lift the bar. Other team members can assist with loading of the barbell.
At the 12 minute mark WOD 1B will begin.
At the 12 minute mark of 1A:
For time:
90 Front squats 50/35kg

Athletes can load the bar ready to start at 12 min.
Reps to be split between all 3 athletes however your team wishes.
For time:
50 - 40 - 30 - 20 - 10
Syncro Deadlifts 70/45kg
Syncro Lateral Burpee over Bar

2 athletes working in sync whilst 1 athlete is resting. Athletes acn change in and out as and when they want.
3RFT:
20 Syncro Box Jumps 24/20"
30 Syncro Dumbell snatches 22.5 / 20 / 15kg or 15kg / 12.5kg / 10kg

All athletes will work together in syncro for the final workout. Each athlete will have a different weighted dumbell but can change weights over as and when they require should they wish.

75/60 Calorie Echo Bike
Max reps Power cleans in remaining time 50/35kg
