About This Competition

[ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST TAKE A RAPID TEST 72 HOURS (OR LESS) BEFORE THE EVENT]

Who: The Phoenix Games is a competition that is specialized in functional fitness. First of its kind in Qatar, sponsored by Aspire Zone and organized by Erada Fitness and Diverse Sports.

What: The Phoenix Games is on-site competition that is going to take place in Aspire Zone, one of Qatar’s greatest sports facilities. The competition will be divided into 3 categories: Individual RX (Male), Teams of 2 (Male) and Teams of 2 (Female). Each Category will have the top 3 winners (overall) and the top 3 winners of Qatari Nationals.

Our purpose is to crown the fittest in the region and the fittest Qataris in all categories.

The Phoenix Games will be divided into two main competitions, the male competition (Individual RX and Teams) will take place in September 24-25, and the female competition (Teams) will take place in September 26. The female competition will be closed-off to women only, no man will be allowed to enter the venue whatsoever.

When: Individual RX (Male) and Teams of 2 (Male) are in September 24-25, 2021. Teams of 2 (Female) is in Sep 26, 2021. The female competition will kick-off after 15:00, however, the male competition’s timing details will be shared soon.

Where: Aspire Zone, Ladies Sports Hall

Scoring: For each event, the winner will get the highest points record (100 points). At the end of the competion, the team or individual with the highest points will be crowned the winner.

Categories:

Individual RX Competion - Male*
(Registration fees is 100$)

1. Athletes must be over 18+
2. Athletes must be able to do all RX movements in the open.
3. All Athletes will do sevral events in the first day and one event in the second day before the final cut. 
4. 20 Athletes will advance to the semi-final 
5. 10 Athletes will advance to the final. 
6. Top 3 (overall) will get a cash prize.
7. Top 3 (Qatari Nationals) will get a cash prize.

Team of 2 Competition for All Levels - Male*
(Registration Fees is 200$ for the team)

1. Athletes must be over 18+
2. Minimum fitness experience of 6 months.
3. All teams will do several events in the first day and one event in the second day before the final cut.
4. 20 teams will advance to the semi-final.
5. 10 teams will advance to the final.
6. Top 3 (overall) will get a cash prize.
7. Top 3 (Qatari Nationals) will get a prize.

Team of 2 Competition for All Levels - Female*
(Registration Fees is 200$ for the team)

1. Athletes must be over 18+
2. Minimum fitness experience of 6 months
3. All Teams will do 4 events
4. Top 3 (overall) will get a cash prize.
5. Top 3 (Qatari Nationals) will get a prize.
