Winter Swolestice

A Mini-Competition presented by
CrossFit Shatter and Shatter Events!

During the New York Fitness Expo on January 18 and 19, 2020, CrossFit Shatter will have two jam-packed days of fitness!

 

Saturday events will include walk-in/no registration required bursts of fitness aimed at max effort attempts at a particular movement ​(think ME burpee box jump overs or cals on an assault bike type stuff), as well as some "open gym" hours within our booth! Prizes all day! Full details to come. 


SUNDAY REQUIRES REGISTRATION!
Sunday will feature Winter Swolestice
A mini-comp that's part of the Shatter Slam Series! 

This will be a gymnastics-free, capacity blaster full of barbells and dumbbells, body-weight movements, and the cardio we all know and love! 
Two-person, same-sex teams in RX and Scaled divisions- WINNER TAKES ALL! Prize, workouts and other details to come! 

We're running TWO mini-comps- RX Teams in the Morning (9am to 12 pm) and Scaled Teams in the Afternoon (1 pm to 4 pm)
Teams are M/M or F/F, with 30 spaces available for each mini-comp. We'll have Male Team and Female Team Winners for both AM and PM Events - Three workouts. No Floater. No Finals. WINNER TAKES ALL! 
Team Registration includes the Expo entry fee. All spectators will need to purchase Expo tickets for $10.

Partner Kettlebell Kalsu

For Time:

100 Double Kettlebell Thrusters (53/35 & 35/25)
5 Synchro Burpees to a target to start and at the top of every minute

Thruster reps accumulate between partners, one partner working at a time, divide the work as necessary.

In 2 Minutes:
Max Effort Power Cleans
Rest 1 Minute
In 2 Minutes:
Max Effort Assault Bike Cals

Cleans: RX- 185/130, Scaled- 135/95
Partners can divide the work as necessary.
