About This Competition

Note: Any teams signing up after 09/05 will not get a nameboard.

The mighty May-hem (formerly March Mayhem) has returned!

This year the finals will take place at the all new venue that is the NAEC Stoneleigh on the 25 & 26 May. 

The event will run direct entry divisions in same sex fours and same sex pairs categories. All teams will only compete on one day at the final. 

Pairs divisions will include: 

Rx (Saturday)

Middle Ground (Sunday)

Scaled (Saturday)

Fours divisions will include:

Compete (Saturday)

Compete Masters (all athletes 35+yrs) (Saturday)

Throwdown (Sunday)

Throwdown Masters (all athletes 35+yrs) (Sunday)

Fitness (Saturday)

Below are examples of movements that will be expected from your team in your division, enter the level you train at - we'll be keeping an eye out for any sandbaggers! 

Rx Pairs / Compete Fours

The division for the experienced athletes. Weights and movements you can expect to see programmed include:

Double Unders

All Gymnastic Movements (50% of the athletes on your team must be able to HSW)

Clean & Jerk @ 85/60KG

Snatch @ 60/40KG

Deadlift @ 120/85KG

Overhead Squat @ 60/40KG

2 x Dumbbells @22.5/15KG

Middle Ground Pairs / Throwdown Fours 

The division for the intermediate athletes. Weights and movements you can expect to see programmed include:

Double Unders (or higher reps of single unders)

Pull Ups & Toes To Bar

Clean & Jerk @ 60/40KG

Snatch @ 50/30KG

Deadlift @ 100/70KG

Overhead Squat @ 50/30KG

2 x Dumbbells @22.5/15KG

Scaled Pairs / Fitness Fours

The division for begginer athletes only, those who are just starting out on their training journey. Weights and movements you can expect to see programmed include:

Single Unders

Jumping Pull Ups

Clean & Jerk @ 45/30KG

Snatch @ 40/25KG

Deadlift @ 80/50KG

Overhead Squat @ 50/30KG

1 x Dumbbells @22.5/15KG
