About This Competition

Battle Of The Brave 6, Feb 4th - 5th 2022, is a 2-day, 4-person (MM/FF) fitness competition in support of Veterans and First Responders suffering from PTS (Post Traumatic Stress)⁣

Our mission is to raise awareness and encourage support for the men and women who are suffering due to the sacrifices they made on our behalf. ⁣

Combat and trauma occurred in the line of duty, is just the beginning. Healing from those incidents is the true Battle Of The Brave.⁣

This year we will have RX, Intermediate, Scaled, and Masters divisions.

Workouts

On a four minute clock each team member will have two, thirty second attempt at a MAX two rep Thruster.

After a one minute transition from part A,  you will have 15min to get as many rounds and reps as possible of:

7 Ring Muscle-Ups

11 Thrusters (Ascending weight every two rounds) RX: M:95-115-135-155/F:55-75-95-115, Masters/Int: M:75-95-115-135/F:55-75-95-105

14 Toes To bar *Scaled Knee Raises (above hips)

During the 15min AMRAP off Tru-Grit Tom, you will accumulate MAX calories on the Rower. One team member must be on the rower at all time. You can switch team members when needed. 

5min AMRAP: 

50ft Sled Pull (RX: M-Sled +3x45's/F-Sled +2x45's+1x25, Masters/Int: M-Sled +2x45's+1x25/F-Sled +2x45's, Scaled: M-Sled +2x45's/F-Sled +1x45's+1x25)
2-4-6-8-10...etc, HSPU's. (*RX=deficit M-2x45's/F-25's)


12 Rounds for time of:

2 Rope Climbs (*RX/Masters: 2 RC, Int: 1 RC, Scaled 3 Pull 2 Standing)

15 Cal Assault Bike


*The team will split into MM/FF pairs. On pair will compete Part A, while the other completes Part B. After 5min there will be a 1min transition, and the pairs will switch workouts and complete 5min of that workout.

Part A is an AMRAP, Part B is for Time. You are trying to complete 12 rounds in the allotted time between the whole team.
