Mass MVMNT Team Fall Throwdown - Hingham, MA
About This Competition
Our last competition was held right before the pandemic and it was off the charts. The positive energy and great vibes almost blew the roof off the place. We're excited to do it again! Sign up soon, all of our comps have sold out in the past.
Team up to put your Ready for Anything training to the test in this challenging and fun event. In teams of two, you'll compete in four events throughout the course of the day to challenge your strength, engine, teamwork, and readiness. Teams will be comprised of 2 women, or 2 men.
Our 2-person, same gender team setup allows you to step out onto the competition floor with your best lifting buddies to experience the best of both worlds: all the fun of competition, without that nerve-wracking feeling of going it alone!
Early bird pricing of $140 per team is available until August 8th. After that the price goes up to $170 per team.

Parking – There's tons of free parking available in our lot.
Check- In - All athletes must check in between 7-8 am
Come Prepared – You’ll need to provide a valid ID to complete check-in.
No Take-Backs – Life happens—we totally get that. But please be aware that if you cannot participate in the weekend’s events, we cannot offer a refund for any reason.
Trading Places – You can substitute an athlete up until the day of competition!
T-Shirts - Are included in your teams registration until the shirt deadline, which is Friday, Sept 3rd at 11:59 pm.
Prizes - We have awesome prizes from Liquid Chalk, Double Under Wonder, and Reebok (shoes!!)

Workouts
You and your partner have 10 minutes to work up to a 1 rep max front squat. Your score is the total of you and your partner's heaviest lift.
Event 2 occurs two minutes after you complete event 1. So once the ten min time cap ends for event 1, you'll have a two minute rest, and then you'll start event 2.
Event 2 is a 5,000 meter row for time. You and your partner will switch every 500 meters.
In addition to how quickly you can row your pieces, this event will fvor those who can transition between partners really well.
We're setting a 20 minute time cap on this event. How deep are you willing to dig??!!

Max pull-ups/ring rows in remaining time
* You and your partner can break up the snatches, calories, and pullups anyway you like.
* The kettlebell must touch the ground on every rep and you must finish in a full, overhead locked out position. You do not need to alternate hands, but you may if you'd like.
## The KB cannot touch the ground at any point during the bike and pullups. While one partner is biking or doing pullups, the other partner must be holding the kettlebell, suitecase style (by your side) in one hand. If it touches the ground the partner must stop doing pull-ups.
This one's a bit of a surprise. The details of this event will not be released until event day. It includes a movement we haven't seen in a competition before, but are sure you will all do really well and have a lot of fun with it!
