About This Competition
INFO:
It's that time of year again, we are excited to get outside and enjoy ourselves with family and bbq's. At The Loop, it's a time we are preparing for a workout that's typically done once a year on Memorial Day which includes a lot of running and bodyweight movements. We always have invited anyone in the community to join along with us. We share selfies and hugs and when we are done we have a cold beverage and BBQ.
Well, CORONA has other plans. So we are adjusting as well.
We are creating an opportunity to become STRONGER TOGETHER! Whether or not you are a member of The Loop.
Of course, if you are a member of THE LOOP FITNESS we would love to see you wearing your swag.
While we strongly advocate for social distancing anytime you’re performing fitness outside, we know that it’s likely you may want to perform this with someone else for accountability. So this event will be completely open to the public and anyone can register, FOR FREE!
But for real - push each other and workout alongside those who motivate you, just make sure you’re six-feet apart.

Excited? We are. Now here are the finer details:
WHEN:
You’ll have 24 hours to complete the STRONGER TOGETHER workout starting at 12:00am on Saturday, May 30th, and concluding at 11:59 pm that same evening. All leaderboard entries must be entered prior to 11:59 pm on Saturday.
WHAT:
There is no time limit and you must complete the workout in the exact order it is written (no breaking up reps). Your running routes are at your discretion, but you must document them on a GPS enabled app and upload screenshots of your run route, total distance and time to the digital leaderboard.
Everyone that has completed the workout and added their score to the leaderboard, we will be putting your name in a hat and raffling off gift cards to local Lake Steven's Businesses.
Can’t run? Walk. Don’t want to walk? Perform 100 Mountain Climbers of the one-mile run. If you are just coming off the couch and this looks like something you don't feel you could do safely than cut everything in half or better yet do it with a partner and split everything in half.

100 Air Squats
100 Situps
100 Burpees

WHERE:
Anywhere - that’s the beauty of this event! We hope to see running routes that stretch all over the Lake and perhaps you’ll even pass another really sweaty person rocking fresh LOOP swag.
Remember, Your running routes are solely at your discretion, but you must document them on a GPS enabled app and upload screenshots of your run route, total distance and time to the digital leaderboard.
HOW:
During the 24 hour event window, hit this workout anytime that fits your schedule.
While we are requiring proof of your runs, the movement reps are completely on the honor system.
Once completed, login to our digital leaderboard, create an account and enter your score and the screenshot of your time.
The scoreboard is live and keeps accurate rankings as new times are entered, so make sure to check back throughout the day and send daps to your friends as they complete the workout.
The entire Loop Fitness staff will be joining in the fun as well (staff will not be eligible for raffle drawing) But, if you see any of us out and about on the run make sure to give us a virtual HIGH FIVE! We miss them just as much as you do.
