House Prize, All athletes from the winning house will receive a $25 StreamFit Credit. Only athletes that have been active in one or more of the 2024 Friday Night lights events will be eligible for the prize from the winning house. POINTS House points are allocated from Friday Night Lights as follows for the 2024 event(s) Participation - 50 points per house member registered per event. Individual Overall Performance placing - 1 point for first place, 2 for second, 3 for third, and so on. This is scored after EACH event AND overall individual placings after the 4 events. For example; Athlete 1 enters event 24.1, 24.3 and 24.4 (they miss 23.2) They will receive 150 house points (50 points for each event entry). These points contribute to their individual tally for each of the events that they entered (50 points for each event - 24.1, 50 points, 24.3, 50 points and 24.4, 50 points) Athlete 1 completes some of the various fortnightly tasks and challenges before the WOD event and achieves 20 points out of a possible 25 (actual points will vary each period - this is simply an example) Athlete 1 is paired up with 3 other athletes for WOD event 24.1. As a team they take in all of their points accumulated in the fortnightly tasks/challenges, Athlete 1 - 10 house points (for registering for 24.1) plus 20 task/challenge points = 30 points Athlete 2 - 10 house points (for registering for 24.1) plus 22 task/challenge points = 32 points Athlete 3 - 10 house points (for registering for 24.1) plus 15 task/challenge points = 25 points Athlete 4 - 10 house points (for registering for 24.1) plus 10 task/challenge points = 20 points This give the team 107 points to begin the night and across all of the registered teams at that event, this team had the 4th highest score so they receive 4 points (first place is 1, 2nd is 2, 3rd is 3 etc) This team then competes in the WOD event and are placed 5th in the WOD event for their performance. The will receive 5 points (first place is 1, 2nd is 2, 3rd is 3 etc) for that 5th placing. This is added to their combined task/challenge score to give the team an overall 24.1 score of 9 points. This score will then be ranked against other teams competing in the event and an OVERALL placing for the 24.1 event will be allocated on that. Individual Points are allocated as follows, Using the same example as above, Athlete 1 enters event 24.1, 24.3 and 24.4 (they miss 24.2) They will receive 150 house points (50 points for each event entry). These points contribute to their individual tally for each of the events that they entered (50 points for each event - 24.1, 50 points, 24.3, 50 points and 24.4, 50 points) Athlete 1 completes some of the various fortnightly tasks and challenges before the WOD event and achieves 20 points out of a possible 25 (actual points will vary each period - this is simply an example) Athlete 1 was paired up with 3 other athletes for WOD event 23.1. This team competed in the WOD event and were placed 5th in the WOD event for their performance. They received 5 points (first place is 1, 2nd is 2, 3rd is 3 etc) for that 5th placing. These points are Athlete 1's individual performance points and are added to their individual fortnightly task/challenge points Athlete 1 - 5 house points (for registering for 23.1) plus 20 task/challenge points plus 80 points for 5th place at the 24.1 WOD event for a total of 105 points for the 24.1 event period. House points are awarded as participation points at each event PLUS individual scores at each WOD event. These are then combined for an overall points/placing after the 4 events and the prizes awarded accordingly. At each of the 4 separate Friday Night events (24.1, 24.2, 24.3 and 24.4) the teams are randomly selected from the registered participants and will throw down for more points and glory. Individual points from the period prior to the Friday Night Workout Events are added to the Team points on each of the Friday Night Workout Events to give an overall winner... FRIDAY NIGHT WORKOUT TEAMS ARE SELECTED AT RANDOM ON THE NIGHT. AT EACH EVENT. That’s right, 4 separate events within the whole Friday Night Lights Event. ***NOTES*** Individuals register for any or all of the Friday Night Lights events, 24.1, 24.2, 24.3, 24.4. If you are not available for an event, don’t register for it, but remember that you can still accumulate points by doing the challenges/bonus points. These become very, very important over the course of the Friday Night Lights series. The Coaches will be putting the teams together for Friday Night Lights 2023 – randomly selected on the night from all registered participants for that event. Teams for the workouts will consist of up to 4 athletes. ONE Rx athlete will be announced per team to compete in each of the Friday Workout Events and will be named the team Captain for the night. Workouts will be announced at 8 pm the Wednesday prior to each Friday Night Lights event. Entry fee is just $20 per person per event or $75 for all 4 events and you get a free 2024 CFWS Beanie Think of each fortnight as a separate event, you enter, you play the game, you win or lose…move on to the next period with a clean slate… Bonus Points Every year these make a significant contribution to the overall leaderboard, don’t underestimate how important the bonus points and challenges are to your team on the night. Points can be accumulated throughout the period (fortnight) prior to each Event for things like, Points per class for "X" number WOD classes attended Points for attending recording your WOD results into the StreamFit App Points for an active recovery session with a Crewmate (walk, run, swim etc) Points for commenting on workouts on the StreamFit App Points for nutrition goals *Bonus points may change depending on the Event This is a great way to support each other, get involved in the community and keep your motivation up over the next wee while and get into it! Event Challenges During the fortnight prior to each Event, there will be specific challenges for you to complete together (randomly selected) or as individuals. They will be worth points and will play a major role in deciding each of the Event (24.1, 24.2, 24.3, 24.4) winners. Individual POINTS - There are Challenges/Tasks to complete during the competition period which is announced for each of the 4 events. Some quick points around Friday Night Lights that you may not have picked up in the various posts/emails/events. Many seem to be focussed on the WOD events themselves, but remember there is 3 layers to the scoring. Individual, Team and House, all with prizes up for grabs. - Your individual points are accumulating throughout all 4 Friday Night Lights events. So even if you cant make a WOD event on Friday night, your points from challenges in the competition period prior still count. You would simply miss the team placing points that night, which are unlikely to be critical come the end of the 4 events. - As above, but for your house points. - Your individual points do contribute to the team WOD placing scores on the night as do the team WOD points for your individual points. - While things may appear complex, they are really actually pretty simple. Register for the events, do as many of the challenges/tasks/WODS that your schedule allows, have a lot of fun and probably win some prizes.
