Best of the Wurst
About This Competition
It's back! The 2nd annual Best of the Wurst returns Saturday, November 2nd. Teams of 2 - men, women, and co-ed. RX and Scaled divisions. WODs are as follows:
Best of the Wurst WOD 1:
10 Minute AMRAP
5 synchro S2O
(RX - 155/105)
(Scaled - 115/75)
10 synchro toes-to-bar
(Scaled - hanging knee raises)
15 synchro burpees
Each movement must be synchronized with your partner.
Best of the Wurst WOD 2:
5 minute Echo Bike sprint
Rest 1 minute
6 minutes to get a 1 rep max Snatch
You and your partner can switch as often as you want on the bike.
Snatch can be either power or squat for both RX and Scaled.
There will be 2 scores: calories accumulated on the bike and you and your partner’s combined total max snatch.
Best of the Wurst WOD 3:
12 minute time cap.
50 dumbbell box step-overs
50 alternating dumbbell snatch
50 overhead dumbbell lunge
50 devils press
RX: 50/35
Scaled: 35/20
One partner works at a time. Reps can be broken up at you and your partners discretion however, you and your partner must complete at least one rep of each movement.

*This is you go, I go style. One partner works at a time and they may split the reps however they would like.*
10 Min AMRAP
5 S2OH (155/105) (115/75)
10 TTB (Hanging Knee Raises)
15 Burpees
*the entire AMRAP is synchronized. The partners must move in sync for every rep of every movement*
5 mins to accumulate max calories on the bike
Rest 1:00
6 mins for both partners to establish a 1RM Snatch
*partners may share and swap as often as they like on the bike. The snatch is any style either a power or full. There is no limit on attempts or order for partners on the snatch as long as only one is lifting at a time*
12 min running clock
800m Run - Both Partners
80 KB Swings (70/53) - (53/35)
Max Bar Muscle Ups in remaining time
(Chin over bar pull-ups for scaled)
*The 800M run is done together, the partners will be connected by holding a rope. They cannot let go of the rope. In the remaining time after their mile they must complete as many of the 80 KB swings as possible with as many BMU or PU as possible*
