The Beach Showdown (formerly 'The Indoor & Outdoor Throwdown @ the Beach) has its origins back in 2017.
Anno 2025, same people, same concept, same cool atmosphere, new divisions, new name, new fresh look and powered by CF Events.
Welcome to the 2025/2026 Beach Showdown Individual Indoor & Buddy Edition Qualifiers for the 2025/2026 finals. The Beach Showdown is an official CrossFit® Licensed Event
2025 Qualifiers for the 2026 Finals:

You can choose from the following divisions for the indivual event:
- Scaled M 16+
Scaled F 16+ - Regular M 18+
Regular M 35+
Regular F 18+
Regular F 35+ - Advanced M 18+
Advanced M 35+
Advanced F 18+
Advanced F 35+ - RX M 18+
- RX F 18+
- Teens M 12 > 15
Teens F 12 > 15
You can choose from the following divisions for the buddy event:
- Scaled M/M - F/F - M/F
- Regular (35+) M/M - F/F - M/F
- Advanced (35+) M/M - F/F - M/F
- RX M/F M/M - F/F
- Parent & Kids (6-12 years)

INDOOR BEACH SHOWDOWN BUDDY WOD 1 - BEACH DECA
AMRAP - TIME CAP = 10 MIN
10 – CLEAN & JERK
10 – REVERSE FRONT RACK LUNGES
10 – POWER SNATCH
*Buddies can divide the reps however they like, as long as only one athlete is working at a time. In this workout, you may use two barbells, but you can only switch when your buddy’s barbell is on the ground.
*Parents & kids will perform this workout using a single dumbbell

INDOOR BEACH SHOWDOWN BUDDY WOD 2 - TWO SANDY WAVES OF TWENTY
FOR TIME - TIME CAP = 20 MIN
2 ROUNDS OF:
20 - CAL BIKE (Athlete A) & CAL ROW (Athlete B)
20 - SYNC KB GOBLET SQUATS
20 - CAL ROW (Athlete A) & CAL BIKE (Athlete B)
20 – SYNC KB SWINGS
20 – CAL BIKE (Athlete A) & CAL ROW (Athlete B)
20 – SYNC KB STEP OVERS
20 – CAL ROW (Athlete A) & CAL BIKE (Athlete B)
20 – SYNC KB MARCH
If a BikeErg is not available, you may use an Echo Bike or AirBike instead and complete 15 calories for the biking.
*The height of the box for all divisions is approximately 50 cm (20 inches).
*Buddies will row and bike at the same time. Once both have finished, they can continue with the synchronized movement.
*Parent & kid will perform 1 round and can share the KB golblet squats, KB step overs and row/bike.

FOR TIME - TIME CAP = 15 MIN
FOR TIME
60 - DOUBLE UNDERS / SINGLE UNDERS (TO SHARE)
50 – DUO SIT-UPS WITH WALL BALL
40 - ALT. SINGLE DUMBBELL HANG CLEAN (TO SHARE)
30 – SYNC TOES TO BAR VARIATION
20 – ALT. SINGLE DUMBBELL DEVILL PRESSES (TO SHARE)
10 – SYNC PULL-UP VARIATION
*M/F divisions will use two dumbbells, with each athlete using their own prescribed weight. All other divisions will use one dumbbell.
*Buddy can share the reps for the dumbbell movements.
*Parents & Kids will perform a different number of reps and complete dumbbell thrusters instead of the pull-up variation
