About This Competition

Midwest Championship is a 2 day functional fitness competition for the everyday athlete who wants to showcase their fitness and have fun doing it! The event will take place in Rochester MN at the Mayo Civic Center. MWC will be providing a 25,000sq ft arena with multiple workout floors allowing athletes to have the excitement of being on the big stage in every workout. Each athlete will have the same incredible experience from scaled to RX. The event main event will take place October 5-6 2024 No Refunds Movement standards for RX Individuals and Teams of 3 Chest to bar pull ups Bar/Ring muscle ups Toes to bar Strict handstand push ups Unbroken Handstand walking minimum of 5 feet Wall walks Snatch a minimum of (185/125) Clean & Jerk a minimum of (225/135) Deadlift a minimum of (315/215) Double unders Legless Rope Climb Wallballs: Men must be able to throw 20# ball to a 10’ target. Women must be able to throw a 14# ball to a 9’ target Sled pull/push (200/150) Movement Standards for Intermediate Individuals and Teams of 3 Pull ups Chest to bar pull ups Toes to bar handstand push ups Wall walks Snatch a minimum of (135/95) Clean & Jerk a minimum of (185/115) Deadlift a minimum of (275/185) Double unders Rope Climb Wallballs: Men must be able to throw 20# ball to a 10’ target. Women must be able to throw a 14# ball to a 9’ target Sled pull/push (150/100) Movement standards for Scaled Individuals and Teams of 3 Jumping Pull ups Knee Raises Wall walks Snatch a minimum of (95/55) Clean & Jerk a minimum of (115/65) Deadlift a minimum of (225/135) Single unders Ring rows Wallballs: Men must be able to throw 14# ball to a 10’ target. Women must be able to throw a 10# ball to a 9’ target Sled pull/push (100/50) Movement standards for Masters 44+ Individuals Chest to bar pull ups Bar/Ring muscle ups Toes to bar handstand push ups Unbroken Handstand walking minimum of 5 feet Wall walks Snatch a minimum of (115/105) Clean & Jerk a minimum of (165/100) Deadlift a minimum of (245/125) Double unders Legless Rope Climb Wallballs: Men must be able to throw 20# ball to a 10’ target. FOR TIME TOTAL REPS 50-40-30 Wall Ball Shots Heavy Rope Ringle-Under Jump Rope — — immediately after and in time remaining — — 20 Ring Muscle ups (RX | Masters) 40 Ring Pull Ups (Intermediate) 40 Ring Rows (Scaled) Additional Notes -Weights per division: RX 20/14 | Intermediate & Masters 20/14 | Scaled 14/10 -Tie breaker will be time on clock after completing the set of 30 heavy rope singles -Athletes must complete the 50-40-30 of wall balls and jump rope before moving on to the muscle ups, pull ups, or swing bar rows. -15 Minute Cap

AMRAP 6 RX | Intermediate | Scaled -Partner deadlifts *Anytime athletes switch or rest a penalty of 4 shuttle runs must be completed before resuming the partner deadlifts (1 shuttle run = 50’)* Additional Notes -Weights per division: RX 315/225 | Intermediate 275/185 | Scaled 225/155 -Score is total deadlifts completed in 6 minutes. Shuttle runs will NOT count towards a team's score. -Tie breaker will be total deadlift completed at the 2 minute mark -Only one athlete can complete shuttle run reps at a time. Athletes must complete a full rep which is 50’ (athletes will run down 25’ cross the marked line, tap the ground, and turn back to run 25’) as long as full reps of the run are completed teams can switch out during the penalty as they choose.
