The event attracts athletes from far and wide to compete for the title of The Fittest Team. What started as an idea to bring the CrossFit community on the Sunshine Coast together through friendly competition, has fast become one of the most popular CrossFit events in Queensland attracting some of the best in the sport.
Over the last 6 years the event has grown significantly. We continue to do our best to be at the forefront of challenging our athletes, developing unique workouts and upholding our standard of professionalism and integrity to provide a fantastic experience.

In the instance of a COVID 19 required postponement of the event due to a State lockdown, a full credit will be provided to the new date. Where teams are not able to compete at the new date, a refund will be provided.

Workouts
Workout 2 will see athletes working in F/F and M/M pairs in a 6:30 AMRAP each, with the females going first.
Athletes may portion the repetitions however they see fit, as long as one athlete is working while the other is resting.
The athletes must complete the required reps on the designated movement before proceeding to the next movement. Once the pair have completed 30, 20 and 10 repetitions of each movement at the required loads, they will use the remaining time of their 6:30 window to complete as many repetitions of cleans at the final load. Power or squat cleans are acceptable.
The non-working pair CAN change the loading of the barbell for the working pair whilst they are on the box jump overs.
At the completion of the females workout, there will be a 1 minute changeover to set up the loading of the barbell for the men. Your score will be the sum of the total repetitions completed by both pairs.
Working times:
F/F: 0:00-6:30
1 Minute Changeover: 6:30-7:30
M/M: 7:30-14:00
Workout 3 will begin with a team run. Once all the athletes are back from the run, they will split off into M/F pairings.
One pair will be completing repetitions on the synchro toes to bar whilst the other pair is holding the deadlift. Pairs may share the repetitions as they see fit.
Once all reps are complete, the team will come together and work through 45 synchro burpees AS A TEAM, before splitting off back into pairs to complete the final 30 repetitions on the pull-up rig whilst one pair is holding the deadlift.
The barbell MUST be locked out at the top of the deadlift in order for repetitions on the pull-up rig to count.
Your score is the total time it takes to complete the workout OR the total repetitions completed within the 12 minute time cap.
Workout 4 is a team sprint relay working as an individual. The athlete must complete all the required reps for the designated movement before moving onto the next movement.
Athlete 1 will complete the entirety of the workout before releasing athlete 2 to complete the entirety of the workout. The workout will continue in this fashion until each team member has completed the workout ONCE each.
The order of athletes must alternate between male and female. For example: M-F-M-F or F-M-F-M.
Your score will be the total time it takes your team to complete the sprint relay OR the total repetitions completed within the 12 minute time cap.
