615 Throwdown - October 5 & 6
About This Competition
We're baaaaacccckkkkk!
615 Throwdown for its 10th event is bringing a two-day competition back to the Nashville Fairgrounds on October 5 & 6, 2024. This will be a two day event, all athletes will compete on both days.
Individuals - M/F - RX, Intermediate & Scaled
Teams of 4 - MM/FF - RX, Intermediate, & Scaled
- For individuals, we will have 20 available spots for each division.
- For teams, we will have 10 available sports for each division.
- Spots will fill up quickly, and division caps will not be extended, so grab your spot early!
*there will be no masters division this year due to time constraints for the event, but we encourage masters athletes to join a team, help out with the event, or come and support the other athletes!
STANDARDS
Below are the 615 Throwdown movement standards. Please note that the goal of these is to guide you to the correct division when registering. These do NOT reflect all movements that could be programmed and movements/weights may change at any time.
Rx Divisions: This division will be designed for the athletes that competed in the 2024 CrossFit Open, finishing top 10% in the world and making it to Quarterfinal/Semifinal level. All athletes will be expected to perform ALL SKILLS at a high level and all past Quarterfinal/Semifinal movements will be fair game for programming.
RX Standards:
Clean & Jerk 185/125#
Shoulder to Overhead 185/125#
Hang Power Cleans 135/95#
Snatch/OH Squat 185/125#
Very proficient in all gymnastics (HS Walk, C2B/BMU, Strict HSPU, Toes to Bar, Rope Climbs, etc)
Kettlebell 70/53#
Double Under
Wallball 30/20#
All Barbell Lifts for 1 rep max/complex
Efficiency with Sandbag Clean up to 150/125#
Intermediate Divisions: This division is designed for the competitive athlete with maybe a few holes in their game. Athletes in this division are expected to have performed all workouts in the 2024 Open as prescribed, however, may not have been able to complete the workouts due to movement/weight limitations. We invite all athletes who can complete "gym" workouts as prescribed, to compete in this division.
