About This Competition

ANNUAL IN HOUSE COMPETITON FOR COMPLETE ATHLETES AND OTHER COMPETITORS IN OKLAHOMA.

The is our improved quest to find the most well rounded duo! 

This is not your normal CrossFit competition. There are no random events or unnecessary fluff. All events have the purpose to measure a particular aspect of fitness in a simple, easy to judge format. The events come together to prove the most well rounded athletes in a FUN & ENTERTAINING way! 

ALL LEVELS CAN DO THIS COMP INCLUDING ROOKIES!

For all events, partners can switch designation of Partner 1/2 based on event

HYBRID RX - Teams of 2

  • Male/Male
  • Female/Female
  • One athlete Completes most WOD's as RX + One athlete Rookie to Intermediate or Masters (40+)
  • Checkout last years workouts and standards to help your choice!

Scaled - Teams of 2

  • Male/Male
  • Female/Female
  • Completes most WOD's scaled
  • Rookie through Intermediate 
  • Checkout last years workouts and standards to help your choice

Adapative SPECIAL - Teams of 2 

  • One Adaptive athelte + One non-adaptive athlete 
  • can be mix of any gender
  • workouts will a mix of adapted movements for adapative movements and non adpative movements for non-adaptive  athletes

Workouts

Event 3:

For Time: - Time CAP: 25min

7km/6.3km Row - Adaptive = 5km/4.5km row
*Partner holds kettlebells @ 35/26 ALL DIVISIONS 

**Every 2min partners switch

If time cap is reached score will be DISTANCE left (less is better)

Example: 

Female team- got through 5,597

- score will be CAP + 703

Score will be Total Time to complete: 

Each Partner For Time: - 8min CAP

Male: 12-9-6 Bike Cal*

Female: 10-8-5 Bike Cal*

* between rounds: 1 length (28’ Down and Back) Reverse Sled Drag between 90/45 added 

Score will be Total Time for both partners to complete

Judges mark ONLY rounds completed + Extra movements/reps - DO NOT DO THE TOTAL MATH

Example: finished P1 finished 2 Rds + 15WB+15 knee Raise 

Explosiveness - Floater Part A - IN 4min

Each partner will have 3 attempts for best effort on One of their choosing

Adaptive Partner 1: REVERSE Medball Toss for max Distance; 14/10
Partner 2: High Jump

- attempts cannot be taken at the same time.

 

Rest 1min - Then move onto Floater part B (see that workout for more details)

 

 

TIME COMPONENT 

9 minutes TOTAL 

4 minutes to establish a Single Max Unbroken Set of Single ARM DB Bench Press (only ONE switch)

1 minute transition 

4 minutes Max to establish a Single Max Unbroken Set of Goblet Squat

Team Score = Total Reps + Total Reps = Total Reps  

DB Bench Rx 50/35 - Scaled/Masters 40/25

Goblet Squat RX 70/53 - Scaled/Masters 53/35

never pausing for more than 2s during any portion of ROM

Flow: 

Partner 1 will have 4 minutes to attempt to create a Max Unbroken Single ARM DB Bench Press (ONE Switch) . Partner 1 can attempt as many attempts as they want to complete a single unbroken set with ONE switch in the 4 minutes. Only the largest set will be scored. Partner 1's attempt WILL be stopped at the end of the 4 minutes 

Partner 2 will NOT be working at the same time

After the 4 minutes for the Single Arm DB Max Reps, there will be a 1 minute transition where both partners will be resting

After the transition:

Partner 2 will have 4 minutes to attempt to create a Max Unbroken set of Goblet Squat repititions. Partner 2 can attempt as many attempts as they want to complete a SINGLE UNBROKEN set of Goblet squat repititions in the 4 minutes. Only the longest set of unbroken reps will be scored. Partner 2's attempt will be stopped at the end of the 4 minutes. 

Partner 1 will NOT be working at the same time.

For time: - 4min CAP for both partners

Each Partner completes: - 1 partner will go through full round at a time.

Adaptive Partner: 4 Half Moon Wall Ball Slams (14/10)

immediately into: 

1x 25m Down and Back Shuttle

THEN

Partner 2: 2x15 Down and Back lateral Cone shuffle

immediately into: 

1x 25m Down and Back Shuttle

 

Score = Total time for both partners to complete 

 

Find the Max Load in 8 Minutes:

Partner 1: 1 rep Max Strict Press

Partner 2: 1 rep Max Power Clean 

- Scaled/Masters: All divisions perform the same movement

Partners will have 4 total min for each individual to find their heaviest attempt at their respective choice of max lift. UNLIMITED ATTMEPTS 

ONLY ONE partner may attempt a lift at a time. An attempt may be completed if pull off the ground at 3:59, 7:59.

Score is total weight lifted.

AFTER this event there will be a 2min rest and then both partners will move to the next event : Muscle Stamina - see Event 2 "Muscle Stamina" for details
