About This Competition

The Corn Belt Classic

"The Midwest Fitness Test"

MP Fit's First Hosted Competition. We welcome all competitors with open arms. Although this is our first hosted competition open to the public - we do bring experience. We hosted an In-House Competition last fall and our competition is going to be run by the former Director of the Hallow Hopper (and MP Fit co-owner) Treyton Buresh. He was the lead programmer for the Hallow Hopper competitions and Director/Asst Director for those as well.

 

This is a team competition with multiple divisions. Teams are 2 person teams consisting of M/M and F/F with Rx and Scaled division levels.

 

Our competition will have 3 events (workouts) for each team with 5 scoring components.

STANDARDS:

Rx Standards:


For Reps

Deadlift (225/155)

Squat (225/155)

Clean (185/125)

Snatch (135/95)

Thruster (135/95) - Low volume

Perform weighted DB Movements

Pull Ups

Toes to Bar

Wall Walks

Double Under

Box Jump (30/24)

Ability to perform distances of:

Run

Row

ECHO Bike

Advised to have the ability to Rx workouts in the CrossFit Open

Advised to have the ability to perform Scaled workouts in the CrossFit Open

 

There will be no refunds for any reason - teams may substitute teammates due to conflicts or last minute emergencies prior to competition day. No subsitutions will be allowed once the team has checked in for the competition day.
