About This Competition

REX RUMBLE IS BACK AND IS DOUBLE DOWNED THIS YEAR!!! We will be introducing Intermidiate division and teams of 2 this year (Same Sex and COED). Rex Rumble will also be a 2 day event with INDY's/Juniors one day and Pairs the other!!

 

This is  "Ocala's Longest Running Fitness Competition" and we are excited about adding PAIRS into the line up!!

 

This competition is for advanced, intermediate, scaled, adaptive and JR CrossFitters of all levels and skills!

 

Space is limited especially with the addition of Intermediate division and Pairs this year!! SO REGISTER ASAP!!

We will be running Indy's on one day and Teams the next day!! (Sat/ Sunday)   

 

Registration:

Opens March 1st

Shirt registration ends June 20th (volunteers and athletes)!!

Any changes to divisions or memebers of teams ends June 20th as well!!!

Closes July 1st

 

Early Bird Pricing:

Starts March 1st and ends May 1st

15$ off Teams, 10$ off INDYs and 5$ off Juniors!!

 

EVENT REFUND POLICY

24 HOUR CANCELLATION RULE: Once you sign up for an event, you have 24 hour where you can withdraw for a 100% refund.  Requests MUST be made via email to CROSSFITZOO@YAHOO.COM and time stamped with 24 hours of your registration receipt. This rule supersedes both the 30 day and 21 day deadlines for refund percentages. This rule also supersedes the Event Sell Out rule.  

GREATER THAN 30 DAY RULE: From 24 hours after your registration until 30 days prior to the event the MAXIMUM REFUND GRANTED WILL BE 50% of your registration fee MINUS PROCESSING AND PLATFORM FEES. The EVENT SELL OUT RULE does supersede this 30 day rule.

30 DAY RULE: At 30 Days prior to the event THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS GRANTED

EVENT SELL OUT RULE: Once an event sells out, the MAXIMUM REFUND GRANTED WILL BE 25% of your registration fee MINUS PROCESSING AND PLATFORM FEES.  The proximity to the event date itself DOES NOT supersede this rule.

WORKOUT RELEASE RULE: Once the first FULL workout description is released, the MAXIMUM REFUND GRANTED WILL BE 25%. The proximity to the event date itself DOES NOT supersede this rule.

ALL REFUND REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA EMAIL TO CROSSFITZOO@YAHOO.COM.  NO OTHER FORM OF COMMUNICATION WILL BE HONORED FOR REFUNDS.

**ASKING FOR A CREDIT TO A FUTURE EVENT IS A REFUND!* **HOW MANY TEAMS WE MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE ON A WAITING LIST DOES NOT CHANGE OUR REFUND POLICY!**

If team minimum is not met, teams will be refunded their participation fee less processing fees. 

2022 Rex Rumble TRANSFER POLICY

Transferring your registration to another individual or team is 100% depending on the event itself.  For some events this is a very easy swap. Other events can ONLY handle transfers when you are replacing yourself or your team with someone of the same gender, division, weight needs, etc. ALL TRANSFER REQUESTS must be emailed to CROSSFITZOO@YAHOO.COM.  NO OTHER FORM OF COMMUNICATION WILL BE RESPONDED TO FOR TRANSFER REQUESTS.  All requests are handled on a case by case basis.  If we are able to accommodate your request there is NO FEE involved with processing a transfer. 

2022 Rex Rumble WAITING LIST POLICY

Once an event sells out, the ticket option will automatically change to WAITLIST SPOT ONLY.  There will be a 100% NON REFUNDABLE fee of $5/athlete (total fee will depend on individual or team size).  Waitlists will be limited to 10% of the total capacity of the event itself. If/when a spot opens up, an invoice will be generated and sent to the email address that signed up for the waitlist.  That person will have 3 days to pay the invoice to secure their (or their team) spot in the event. If the invoice is NOT paid, the invoice will be cancelled and they will be dropped back down to the bottom of the waiting list.  

At 30 days prior to the event, the 3 day rule on the invoice will NO LONGER BE IN EFFECT.  IF a waitlist still exists at that time ALL teams on the waiting list will be emailed and the spot will be given on a first come, first serve basis.

E-mails requesting to be added to waiting lists will NOT be honored.  

2022 Rex Rumble WORKOUT RELEASE POLICY

CrossFit Zoo and Sponsors reserve the right to release workouts for events whenever we see fit.  Our general rule is 30 days prior to an event. If an event has multiple dates it will be 30 days prior to the FIRST weekend.

There is plenty of parking located at CrossFit Zoo to accommodate all athletes and vendors.

Workouts

Each teammate will have 2 min to lift heaviest stone possible from floor to platform and will perform as many reps as possible at heaviest stone lifted for tiebreak 

Every Athelte will have a chance to lift a stone for adults and slam balls for juniors/adaptive athletes from floor to platform within 2 min. Tie break is heaviest stone lifted for reps once athlete is unable to lift next heaviest stone.

DUBs/single Unders (at end of each round)

Athlete will buy into lift with 1 min on assault bike. Athlete then will have 7 min to complete their 2 rep bear complex lift for heaviest lift possible after the bike buy in. 

Juniors witl complete bike/burpees (per division) and then a 1 rep clean and jerk

 

*this is a 2 partscore. (Max cals and max lift)

Athletes will have a total of 10 min to complete a bike buy in (P1, 1 min) and bike buy out (P2, 1 min) with 8 min in-between the assault bikes to complete a 1 rep bear complex per athlete. Lift must be finished before the 8 min cap to be able to begin the second assault bike. 

Atheltes will buy into lift with assault bike for calories (max burpees for 7-10 division). For 1 min before lift.
