About This Competition
Your favorite FEMALE PARTNER CrossFit competition is back at CrossFit Viral! This is an amazing opportunity to celebrate the beauty of strength prioritized inside the CrossFit community, and get your grind on with your gym bestie! The workouts are designed by our CrossFit certified coaches, who prioritize safety above all else.
WODs will be posted the morning of the competition. Doors open at 8am for athlete registration. Athlete debrief will begin at 8:45am, where we will explain and demo each of the workouts to help everyone feel prepared. A dedicated warm-up area will be provided. First heat will begin at 9am SHARP!

Workouts
Athletes will complete the following work for time, with an 8 minute cap. Faster time is better. If work is not completed in 8 minutes, total reps will be scored as tie-braker.
Both partners will complete the indicated thrusters, with weight increasing each round. Partners will split the reps of the required Core movement.

(Note that WOD 1A and 1B are completed one immediately after the other. The application requires that they be separate on the head schedules, but if you compare the two WODs, they are complimentary.)
Athletes will have 6 minutes to find their max lift on the following unbroken strength complex:
Dead Lift --> Hang Power Clean --> Front Squat --> Shoulder to Overhead
Max weight for both athletes will be added together for total score. Final two movements can be delivered as a thruster.

16 MINUTE AMRAP
The team can split these movements however they prefer, with the requirement that both athletes perform at least one rep/calorie of each movement.

3 MIN AMCAP (As Many Cals As Possible). Partner 1 will bike for max calories while Partner 2 holds a plate overhead. IF plate drops below their head, the biker must immediately stop, and partners will switch places. Computer will roll at all times. Biker will stop immediately at 3 minute mark, and score will be total calories when the bike comes to rest (not at the 3 minute mark).
In the event that the plate hold drops below the head, and the biker continues (beyond good faith attempt to stop), a universal 5 second penalty will be administered by the judge. After the athletes switch, the plate will go overhead and the biker will be asked to hold for 5 seconds.
