WARRIOR AFFILIATE LEAGUE in association with RockTape and Signs Rx  presents

"SUMMER CLASSIC"  Team and Individual Functional Fitness/ CF Competition

When: Sunday, JULY 17th. 730AM-330PM

Where: CrossFit Resolute 15320 Whittier Blvd CA 90603

SUMMER CLASSIC is an Individual (Men, Women, Men's Masters 40+, and MIxed Pairs Team Functional Fitness Competition for athletes of all skill levels.

  • INDIVIDUAL Men's Advanced/Rx 
  • INDIVIDUAL Men's Scaled
  • INDIVIDUAL Women's Advanced/Rx 
  • INDIVIDUAL Women's Scaled
  • MASTERS 40+ INDIVIDUAL (MEN ONLY)
  • TEAMS - MIXED PAIRS (MF) - INTERMEDIATE 

ADVANCE - Able to perform weight loads and gymnastic movements without scaling. Minimum requirements Snatch 155#/105#, C+J 185#/125#, Deadlift 275#/205#, Bar Muscle Ups, Handstand Walk/HSPU, Toes 2 bar, Chest 2 bar pull ups.

SCALED - Moderate/Light Weight-loads, with modified gymnastics movements. Minimum Requirements Snatch 115#/65#, C+J 135#/85#, Deadlift 185#/155#, Wall walks, Toes 2 bar, chin-over bar pull up. 

MIXED PAIRS - Hybrid co-ed division in which weight-loads are slightly heavier than Scaled but lighter than Advanced. At least one person on team must be able to perform Bar Muscle Ups, Handstand Push ups, Toes 2 bar, Chin-over bar pull ups.

 

TO REGISTER:

One person registers and pays for the team (team captain). Have team members' names, emails, shirt sizes, birthdates, etc. available when registering.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS TO FUTURE EVENTS. NO EXCEPTIONS. Athlete substitution accepted up until event day, by having your new athlete sign your team waiver prior to start of event.

TEST 2 (E3) - "HANG 10"   5 minute cap
Perform as many repetitions as possible of
10 Front Squat
10 Chest to Bar Pull Ups (Scaled chin-over bar)
10 Shoulder to Overhead


 
Barbell – ADV M 135/F 95 lbs, Scaled M 95/ F 65 lbs, Masters M40+ 95 lbs

After a 1-MINUTE REST period following TEST 1,

Immediately perform TEST 2
 
HANG 10  (5 minute cap)
Perform as many repetitions as possible of*
10 Front Squat, 95#
10 Chest to Bar Pull Ups
10 Shoulder to Overhead, 95#
 
*A2 hangs on pull up bar while A1 performs barbell tasks , and vice versa.

*A2 hold barbell in front rack or hanging deadlift position while A1 performs C2B Pull ups, and vice versa.

TEST 3 (E4) – Barbell Ladder (9 barbells)

2 Cleans (Power or Squat)


Men – 95,115,135,155,185,205,225,245, 265 lbs.
Women- 65,75,85,95,105,125,135,145, 165 lbs.

 

Athlete will have 1-minute to make as a many attempts possible to successfully lift a pre-loaded barbell. A successful lift is required to move onto the next pre-loaded barbell. 

TEST 3 (E4) – Barbell Ladder

2 Cleans (Power or Squat)
 
TEAM – 75,95,115,135,155,185,205,225,245 lbs.

 

Team will have a total 1-minute, for each athlete to make a to successfully lift a pre-loaded barbell. Athletes can make as many attempts needed within allotted time frame. A successful lift is required to move onto the next pre-loaded barbell. Once an athlete fails to successfully lift, score will be the heaviest barbell successfully lifted, and athlete will not be allowed to lift subsequent barbells after failure. Score will be the sum of heaviest successful lift performed by each athlete. 

TEST 4 (Floater) (E5/E6) – 6 minute cap
Perform as many repetetions as possible in 6 minutes
E5 (A1) – Max Calorie Row
E6 (A2) – Max sandbag step overs 20” M 50#/ F 35#
 
*A1 and A2 will perform tasks simultaneously and may switch at any time during the workout.

TEST 4 (Floater) (E5/E6) – 6 minute cap

PART A (E5) – 500m Row for time (3 min cap)
PART B (E6) – Perform as many repetitions as possible in 3 minutes

Sandbag box step-overs 20”

ADV M 70#, M Scaled/ Masters M40+ 50#,  ADV W 35#, W Scaled 25#

PART A – 500m Row for time (3 min cap)
PART B – Perform as many repetitions as possible in 3 minutes
