About This Competition

The BlkOps Operator Challenge is a single day partner competition Saturday, December 2nd at BlkOps Fitness, located in Wilmington Delaware. The competition will consist of three workouts.  The competition is teams of 2 : M/M, F/F teams. The competition has three divisions; RX, Masters (combined age of 75 years minimum, with no athletes under the age of 30 ) and Scaled. Registration opens October 1st and will close on November 20th.

Athlete 1 completes the chipper then Athlete 2 completes the chipper

10 Single Arm Alt Dumbbell Clean & Jerk RX 60/45lbs Masters 50/35lbs Scaled 40/25lbs

Then...

4 Rounds

 

Athlete 1: 10 Front Squat + 5 Shoulder to Overhead + 5 Thrusters 

 

RX 135/95lbs Masters 115/75lbs Scaled 95/65lbs

 

Once athlete 1 completes the triplet

 

Athlete 2: 25' Single Arm Overhead Walking Lunges + 5 Single Arm Alternating Devil's Press + 25' Single Arm Overhead Walking Lunges

 

RX 60/45lbs Masters 50/35lbs Scaled 40/25lbs

 

Athletes will repeat this "You go I go" flow for 4 total rounds (4 rds per athlete)

The score will be the overall time it takes to complete both the chipper and the triplet.

For max weight (combined)

 

Athlete 1: 5:00 to achieve 1RM Snatch

(Event 2) 2:00 to achieve max Overhead Squats 

 

at the 7:00 min mark, Athlete 2 will begin

 

Athlete 2: 5:00 to achieve 1RM Clean and Jerk

(Event 2) 2:00 to achieve Max Shoulder to Overhead 

 

This is the first of a two-part event for scoring purposes.  Event 1 will be scored for combined load and Event 2 will be scored for combined reps.

 

Athletes will go one after the other in two separate 7-minute intervals, each athlete will have 5 minutes to establish a 1 RM of their given lift for Score 1. At the 5-minute mark, teams will adjust the bar weight for the given athlete to perform max reps of the movement designated to their lift for Score 2.

The tiebreaker will be the combined reps from Event 2 (max overhead squats in 2min + max shoulder to overhead in 2min)

💀Athletes can receive assistance when loading barbells

💀Athletes cannot load the bar to the max rep weight until the 5:00 mark

💀Any Snatch / Jerk variation is allowed.

Athlete 1

5:00 1RM Snatch 2:00 Max Overhead Squats

after the 7:00 mark

Athlete 2

5:00 1RM C&J 2:00 Max Shoulder to Overhead

 

The score will be the combined repetitions of Athlete 1 (OHS) and Athlete 2 (S20)

The tiebreaker will be the combined weight from Event 1 (1RM Snatch + C&J)

 

Overhead Squat 

RX: 135/95lbs

Masters: 115/85lbs 

Scaled: 95/65lbs

 

Shoulder to Overhead 

RX: 155/105lbs

Masters: 135/95lbs

Scaled: 105/75lbs

200m Run

2 Rope Climbs 15'/12'

6 SandBag Burpee Box Get Overs 48"/42"

10 T2B

3/2 Wall Walks

 

One athlete completes a 200m run, followed by 3/2 rope climbs, 6 sandbag burpee box get-overs, 10 T2B, and finishes with 3/2 wall walks. Once the round is completed they tag in their teammate who begins round 2. Partners will alternate completing a total of 3 rounds each.

RX: Vested Run 20/14lbs Vested Rope Climb 15'/12' Atlas Stone/SandBag 150/100lbs

Masters: 200m Run SandBag 100/80lbs Rope Climbs 15'/12'

Scaled: 200m Run DBall 90/70lbs 2/1 Rope Climbs 12'/12' K2C 2/2 Wall Walks

FAQ:

🚨Tie breaker: In the case a team is time capped, their completed rounds + reps will be the tiebreaker
🚨RX Athletes must provide their own vests which will be weighed on Sunday

🚨Rx Athletes will only wear the vest for the 200m run and the rope climb.  They will be dropping it each round before Get Overs, T2B, and Wall Walks.  They will put the vest back on at a time of their choosing during the rest period.
