WORKOUT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Workout 1 of this year's Fight for Freedom to support The Weekly Fight is inspired by two hero workouts, "Hildy" and "Taylor 91." Thank you to Eadeh Enterprises for sponsoring this workout and their amazing support of TWF.
Teams will split into M/F pairs. MF1 will work together through a Hildy inspired set of front squats, shoulder to overhead and toes to bar (scaled featuring knees to 90). MF2 will take on a Taylor 91 inspired set of thrusters, chest to bar pull ups and wall balls (scaled featuring knees to 90).
More details on the workout flow and standards will be announced in November as we approach the event.

Workout 2 of this year’s F4F to support The Weekly Fight is inspired by the hero workout “Ralph.” Workout 2 is brought to you by our friends at Sobieski. Thank you to Sobieski for their continued support of the competition and their generous donation to TWF.
This workout will be relay style. Athletes will work through a round of deadlifts, box jumps and a run. Rope climbs will be in Rx only.

Workout 3 of this year’s F4F to support The Weekly Fight is inspired by the hero workout “Brock.” Workout 3 is brought to you by our friends at E. Squires Paving.
This workout will be a floater workout. Teams will work to complete 100 calories on the rower, bike and ski erg. There will be synchro burpees.
Background: Right before Christmas, 2018, “a member of the Kato CrossFit family received some awful news. His son, Brock, would have to have a bone marrow transplant and undergo chemotherapy. Brock has ALD (adrenoluekodystrophy), a genetic disease that severely affects boys and men. It affects the nerve cells that allow us to think and control our muscles.”
“On December 3, 2018 Brock’s routine MRI scan revealed the horrible news that he had a lesion on his brain and therefore was diagnosed with the fatal childhood version of ALD. The positive news is they were able to detect the disease early and Brock has a chance at a bone marrow transplant. Brock will undergo intense chemotherapy and will be hospitalized for many months. His total recovery could be 1-2 years potentially. Transplants have extremely high risks and, unfortunately, they do not always work. We are choosing to remain hopeful and optimistic through this process and we expect Brock will pull through.”

Workout 4 of this year's F4F to support The Weekly Fight is a max lift! Each athlete will have time to record their heaviest complex of a clean, hang clean & shoulder to overhead.

Workouts
100 cal row, 100 cal ski, 100 cal bike, every 2 mins 7 burpees (synchro)
The workout will start with 3 athletes on machines (1 bike, 1 rower, 1 ski) and 1 resting. At 3,2,1 go athletes will start working toward the 100 calorie goal on each machine. At the 2 minute mark (and every 2 minutes thereafter) all athletes are required to get off their machine and as a team do 7 synchronized burpees. In order to be synchro, all 4 athletes must be laying on the ground together with chest, hips and quads on the ground at the same time before any athlete begins to stand. When the burpees are complete athletes will return to a machine and continue working towards 100 cals. Athletes can swap and switch machines however they like throughout the entire workout. The workout is complete when all 3 machines hit 100 or at the 9 min time cap. At the time cap the total calories on all 3 machines will be added up for your team score.
