Workout 1 is a test of STRATEGY. One athlete must complete the 3 gymnastics amraps before partner 2 completes the barbell movements. Athletes will need to nominate which movement/weight they will be completing for the 2 min period and must stick with that movement/weight for the entire 2 mins.

At 3-2-1-go, athletes will complete 1 x 50’ shuttle run together, into 4 synchro line facing burpees.

In the remaining time athletes must complete max reps of single arm kb thrusters.
1 athlete working at a time.

Athletes must continue this EMOM until 100 total thrusters are completed.💪🏽👌

The team with the fastest time will win. Strategy will decide how many thrusters you complete to give you both enough rest. There is NO time cap.

Event 3 - STRICT PRESS LADDER 🪜 💪🏽

At 3-2-1 Go, athletes will have 60s to lift and strict press the barbell overhead.

If the athlete is successful they will move onto the next weight, until all 9 barbells are completed. 🥇

If an athlete fails the weight, they will have the remainder of the 60s to complete as many front squats as possible. 🍑
——
Athletes who complete all 9 barbells will have the opportunity to choose their final weight. 🏋🏼♂️
