About This Competition

'HERE FOR THE BEERS' 2024. 

Hosted by CrossFit No Bad Days for the year 2024. Team of 4 will compete on the day. Each team of 4 will consist of 1M + 1F from CrossFit No Bad Days and 1M + 1F from CrossFit Dungeon.

This competition is for fulltime members of CrossFit Dungeon and CrossFit No Bad Days only. 

Teams will compete in 1 OPEN DIVISION. (scaling option will be avail where required). This will be an all inclusive event and event tests. 

*THIS IS FOR FULLTIME MEMBERS OF CROSSFIT DUNGEON AND CROSSFIT NO BAD DAYS ONLY.

CHOOSE RESPONSIBLY 

TWO PARTS: 

Pick 1 gymnastics movement each to perform. 

In order 

PART A:
1. 40 HSPU’s (3:00min Cap)

2. 40 T2B (3:00min Cap)

 

Partner A will choose either 40 HSPU or 40 TTB and Partner B will need to do what Partner A doesnt choose. 

The test will start on the 0:00 - 3:00min and Partner A will have 3mins to complete the 40 Hspu or as many reps in 3mins as possible. 

On the 3:00min- 6:00min, partner A will tag out and Partner B will have 3mins to perform 40 TTB or as many reps as possible in 3 mins. 

At the 6:00min, part A is complete and both partners will move into PART B. 

 

 

 

 

CHOOSE RESPONSIBLY Part B

Choose 1 lift each

PART B: 

3 1RM hang snatch (4:00min cap) 

4. 1RM hang clean (4:00min cap) 

 

Athlete A will choose either 1RM Hang Snatch or 1RM Hang Clean and Athlete B will need to do what Athlete A does not choose. 

The test will start on the 6:00min from Athlete A.  Athlete A will have 4 mins to find a 1RM Hang Snatch. 

At the 10:00min, Athlete A will tag out and Athlete B will have 4 mins to find a 1RM  Hang Clean. 

At the 14min, Part B is complete.

*Athletes will load their own barbells. Bars must be clipped. 

*BB must be deadlifted up to full extension and then taken to hang position to perform the rep. The athlete must finish the rep at full extension of knees, hips and elbows and the bb direclty overhead for the Snatch. 

For the Clean, the athlete must finish the rep at full extension of knees and hips with elbows in front the barbell. 

*Snatch and Clean can be a squat or power as long as bar starts from Hang Position.

12 DB Alt Power Snatch 22.5/15kg 

6 chest to ground shuttles 

On the 3,2,1 Athlete 1 will start from behind the Echo bike and jump on to start their calories. Once the calories are performed 15 or 12, the athlete will then perform 12 Alternating DB Power Snatch. Both heads of the DB must touch the ground at the same time and DB must finish locked out overhead. Once the 12 alt DB Snatches are completed, the athlete will start the CTG Shuttle run. 

*Shuttle is performed in 7.5m increments. 

1 rep = 7.5m. The rep is counted once the chest touches the ground.

Both feet must go over the line (and not touch the line) in the shuttle. The head must be behind the line when chest is to ground. 

The first shuttle the athlete may run straight into the first shuttle rep without having to perform CTG first. The first CTG will occur once 7.5m is run. 

On the 6th rep the chest to ground must still be performed to complete the 6th shuttle rep. 

Partners must tag in. 

Echo bike must be reset before each change of partner.

*CLEAN can be squat or power. 

*JERK can be push jerk or split jerk. 

*Synchro C&J - for the rep to count, both athletes must be locked out at the top of the jerk before the barbell can come down. 

WALL WALKS:

*To Open standard, 

*Synchro - for rep to count both athletes must have both hands on the tape at the wall at the same time. Both athletes must also meet chest to ground at the same time for the start and end of each rep. 

 

*only the first BB will be preloaded with the starting weight. Athletes must change their BBs for all other load increases
