2023 Alaska Invitational Scaled Qualifier
About This Competition
What:The Alaska Invitational Online Qualifier will be used as the OFFICIAL qualifier for athlete participation in The Alaska Invitational.
- The Online Qualifier will consist of a total of 5 workouts. WODs will be posted on 2/16, 2/23, 3/2 and 2 will be posted 3/6.
- Score submissions will be due within 4 days of the WOD release dates: 2/20, 2/27, 3/6 by 5 PM AKST. The 2 additional WODs that are released on 3/6 will have a submission deadline of 3/13 by 5PM AKST.
Where: All workouts can be performed at your gym, home gym or available workout space. Athletes do not have to be a member of an affiliated gym. Results will be posted to Comp Corner, 2023 Alaska Invitational Online Qualifier.
Judging: All of the WODs will require a judge. The athlete will be responsible for providing their own judge. When scores are entered the athlete must provide the name and email address of the judge as well as the location where the WOD was completed. If there is a question of the validity of the score, the judge and/or gym owner will be contacted to provide validation. If the score cannot be validated it will be dropped from the leaderboard.
How:Registration for the online qualifier is 1/2 through 2/20/23. The last day to make any adjustments to the athlete’s chosen division is 2/23/2023 @ 5 PM AKST.
Athletes registered in the Scaled division must complete ALL WODs Scaled.
Cost: $25 for the online qualifier
Cash prizes will be available for Qualifier event wins and overall Qualifier winners in the RX, Intermediate and Scaled divisions.
3 qualifying divisions for the Invitational:
- RX: 1-25 on the RX Male and Female Leaderboards
- Intermediate: 1-25 on the Intermediate Male and Female Leaderboards
- Scaled: 1-25 on the Male and Female Scaled Leaderboard
*Possible Teens (14-17) and Masters (55+) divisions based on volume of sign-ups AND completed WODs with score submissions.
The Alaska Invitational Competition will be:
Intermediate Saturday April 29th
Scaled Sunday April 30th
Rx 2-Day Saturday and Sunday May 6th & 7th
