About This Competition
Best of the West 2022
After a successful partner shootout in 2021, we are revamping our competition to " BEST OF THE WEST" and transitioning to teams of 4. Iron Cowboy Fitness is thrilled to say SAVE THE DATE Best of the West 2022.
This competition is set to be after all CrossFit semi-finals hopefully to allow anyone a chance to compete.
WHEN: June 18th and 19th,2022
WHERE: Rock Springs High School Stadium, Rock Springs, WY
WHO: Four-person teams (two men, two women) in Rx, Scaled divisions
WHAT: Each team will have 5 workouts.
The entry fee is $500 and athletes will receive:

A few things heading in to Best of The West :
Registration will open March ,1 2022 at 12 AM MST. The link for the registration will be posted on the Best of the West Fitness Competition Facebook Page and Iron Cowboy CrossFit Facebook Page.
We have released 4 or 5 workouts for you to feel out the comp, and decide what division will suit you and your team best.
No changes to teams, divisions, or swag orders after May 15th, 2022. You must have a complete team roster in order to compete in the event. In the event that a teammate becomes injured, and cannot compete after the deadline, teams must find an athlete that can compete in the same division in which the team is registered (in other words, an Rx team has to find an Rx athlete and cannot change divisions).
REFUND POLICY: We have a strict NO REFUND policy for Best of The West due to upfront planning costs. No refunds will be allowed after registration even if you are unable to fill your team's roster.
For Best of The West, we will be going outdoors as we have typically made our partner event indoors. This will allow us to get creative with workouts and mix in different modalities to keep your workouts fun, exciting, and as always challenging.

Athletes will start as a team and run with a team "rope" that they all must remain in contact with during the run.
Run will be 1200 M for RX and 600 M for Scaled
Every round the team returns to the field they will have a new task to complete:
RD 1: Run + 300 Wall balls 20/14 ( team may break wall balls however they wish)
RD 2: Run + 200 Drag Rope Double Unders ( break however you wish ) each lane will have 3 sizes of ropes to choose from.
RD 3: Run + 100 chest to bar pull-ups
RD 4: Run + 50 synchro Push press all 4 teammates together (95/65)
King of the Hill
For time: 4 RDS
Run will be 1200 M for RX and 600 M for Scaled
