2022 Amoskeag Classic
About This Competition
We are back for Year 2!
Amoskeag Fitness Co. is excited to bring you the 2022 Amoskeag Classic. A 2-day individual event for all levels with cash prizes for all podium finishers in all divisions. The Amoskeag Classic is for anyone who didn’t qualify for the CrossFit Games Semifinals, but wants to step their game up and feel what it’s like to compete on a bigger stage.
There are 3 divisions: RX, Intermediate, and Scaled for both Male and Female athletes. This year we are expanding divisions to accomodate 14 athletes, but don't wait as we expect a sell out after last year's booming success. Two days of events for all divisions using indoor and outdoor spaces and possible off site event(s).
RX: Athletes who qualified for Quarterfinals, but DID NOT qualify for a SemiFinal event. Has all the high skill movements for reps, and can handle heavier loads for reps or max lifts.
Intermediate: Athletes who DID NOT qualify for Quarterfinals, but were able to complete all Open workouts as RX. Also a division for Masters 45+ who qualified for Age Group Quarterfinals. These athletes have yet to develop high volume high skill gymnastics, can handle moderate-heavy loads for reps.
Scaled: Athletes who scaled an Open workout in the previous Open, and who regularly scale their class workouts on a daily basis. These athletes have yet to develop their high skill movements, and can handle light-moderate weight loads for reps.
