Welcome to the Big Impact Games Throwdown! A Big Impact Games Throwdown is a 1-day event held at select boxes throughout the season. All first place same sex teams of 2 throwdown winners will receive an invitation to our 2-day championship event in September 2021.
Our Adventure Awaits Throwdown will consist of same sex teams of 2.

Workouts
12 minute time capped chipper style event of the following movements:
1,000 meter row (All divisions)
50 Axel Bar Thrusters (Intermediate Men 110, Intermediate Women 90, Scaled Women 70)
30 Pull-ups (Intermediate) -or- 30 Ring Rows (Scaled)
On 3,2,1, GO! Partner A will move to the rower and begin the 1,000 meter row. Partners can switch at any time during the 1,000 meter row as long as the handle is racked. There will be no "helping" your partner strap their feet into the rower. Once the meters are met, team will move on to thrusters and then on to pull-ups until all reps are complete or 12 minute time cap is met.
This is a 3 part workout consisiting of (3) separate 4 minute AMRAPs - Partners can switch at any time during the AMRAP
First 4 Minute AMRAP
60 Drag Rope Double Unders (Scaled Women - Single unders) Followed by -
Max Effort Power Snatch (Intermediate Men 95 - Intermediate Women 65 - Scaled Women 55)
- 1 Minute Rest -
Second 4 Minute AMRAP
50 Drag Rope Double Unders (Scaled Women - Single Unders) Followed by -
Max Effort Power Cleans (Intermediate Men 135 - Intermediate Women 95 - Scaled Women 75)
- 1 Minute Rest -
Third 4 Minute AMRAP
40 Drap Rope Double Unders (Scaled Women - Single Unders) Followed by -
Max Effort Deadlifts (Intermediate Men 225 - Intermediate Women 145 - Scaled Women 105)
The score is total barbell reps for all three AMRAPS
9 minute time capped chipper style event of the following movements:
56 Alternating dumbbell snatches (Intermediate Men 50, Intermediate Women 35, Scaled Women 20)
34 Burpee Box Jump Overs (Intermediate Men 24" Box, Intermediate Women 20" Box, Scaled Women 20" Box)
22 Synchro Toes to Bar (Intermediate) -or- 22 Synchro Hanging Knee Raises (Scaled Women)
18 Handstand Push-ups (Intermediate) -or- 18 Double dumbbell Shoulder to Overhead (Scaled Women 20 pound dumbbells)
13 Synchro Devils Presses (Intermediate Men 50 pound dumbbells, Intermediate Women 35 pound dumbbells, Scaled Women 20 pound dumbbells)
On 3,2,1, GO! Partner A will move to the dumbbell and begin the 56 alternating dumbbell snatches. Partners can switch at any time during the movement. Once all 56 reps are completed, team will move on to burpee box jump overs, then on to the syncronized gymnastics movement and then on to synchronized devils presses until all reps are complete or 9 minute time cap is met.
This is a 2 score event with a 7 minute time cap:
Athletes will start with an empty barbell and off of the Assault bike. On 3,2,1, GO athletes can move to Part A and Part B however they choose:
Part A - 4 rep max deadlift - score will be combined weight of both partners heaviest completed 4 rep max. Example: Partner A hits a 165 lbs 4 rep max front squat, partner B hits a 190 lbs 4 rep max front squat - score is (165+190) 355
Part B - Partner B can be on bike while Partner A is attempting 1 rep max and vice versa- Score is total calories within the 7 minute time cap.
