FLOW

Event #2 will be a two score event. Both athletes will start at their designated start area.

At the call of 3-2-1 Go, athletes will move to their designated wall ball area and complete 70 wall balls. During the wall balls, the resting athlete must hold the medicine ball not being used. After the last wall ball rep, athletes will then complete 60 burpees to plate/sprawls to plate, then a 50 cal row, and then 40 single dumbbell shoulder to overhead.

Athletes may split work in any way and at any time. There is no minimum work requirement for either athlete. Athletes must stay together. Neither athletes may progress to the next movement until all the reps have been completed.

The team's final time will be called after both dumbbells are on the ground and both athletes cross the finish line.

At the 9 minute mark, athletes will have a required 2 minute rest to transition to the next part of the event.

At the call of 3-2-1 Go, athletes will each need to establish a 2 rep max bench press. Both reps must happen consecutively without reracking the bar or receiving assistance between reps for the complex to count.

Each athlete may make as many or as few attempts as they would like during the allotted time, and their partner may help load weight. Collars MUST be on the barbell before any lift is attempted, and lifting straps or grips will not be allowed. Athletes MUST declare their weight to their judge before making an attempt. If the barbell is unracked when time is called, the athlete will be allowed to finish the attempt.

The resting athlete may spot their partner but if their hands/arms make contact with the bar in any way during the attempt, then the attempt will be considered a no rep.

SCORE

The first score for Event #2 will be the team’s total time to complete the chipper or, if unfinished, the time cap plus remaining reps as added seconds. There is a tiebreak time, which will be recorded when the team completes their 60 burpees to plate/ sprawls to plate.

The second score for Event #2 will be the team’s total weight lifted by the team. There is no tiebreak.
