About This Competition

ROOKIE SHOWDOWN is a functional fitness competition for individuals who have not competed as elite level athlete and / or do not yet have elite athlete skill level.

We would like to welcome at least 100 athletes who would like to participate in competition style event. 

Athletes from all around Europe are welcome!

For everyone who has not done functional fitness for a long period of time, we have Sport division

For everyone who has done functional fitness for a while and is missing some elite athlete movement skills and/or do not have experience competing, we have Advanced division. 

This is NOT an event for Elite or RX level Athletes. Please, if you are interested check out BLUE LIGHT THROWDOWN or WOD UP, BERLIN. 

We want to celebrate everyone who would like to challenge themsleves and have fun at the ROOKIE SHOWDOWN!

We would like to WELCOME Kids, Teens and Master age groups

Just choose what matches with you and be ready for some fun!

Registration

ROOKIE SHOWDOWN registration is open until 24th of April.

will have 3 online qualification workouts announced from 24th of February until 14th of March, but score submission deadline is 24th of April.

These Workouts will be Crossfit Open Workouts and you can submit scores until 24th of April.  

These same workout scores are also valid for BLUELIGHT THROWDOWN, if you decided to compete there with your team partner. Please read the rules for BLUELIGHT THROWDOWN carefully. 

Early Bird Registration fee for Online Qualification will be 15 Euro, after 14th of March - 20 Euro. Final Event Registration fee is 60 Euro.

Movements to help choose your division *

Advanced
- You are missing some elite athlete movement skills
- You may be called also Intermediate level athlete
- You may need to do Pull ups, Toes to bars, Olympic weightlifting style movements with Kettlebels, Dumbells and Barbells

Sport
- You have not done functional fitness for a long time and still are missing some skills or movement volume
- You may be doing workouts with scaling movements and weights
- You may need to do jumping Pull ups, Knees to elbos or Knee rises, Olympic weightlifting style movements with Kettlebels, Dumbells and Barbells with light weigts.

Event will be host on 18th of June 2022. This one day event will have many workouts and will be in Berlin, Germany.
