About This Competition
WIT COMBINE - GAME DAY ARRIVAL AND KEY INFO
The main entrance will be via the WIT Retail store entrance on the ground floor - do not go down the escalator - make sure you are wearing your mask. A maximum of 30 minutes before your start time, you can proceed to the Turf Games check in desk and check your team in (see Important Information below). The shop will be open for you to buy product with a fresh drop of the latest Under Armour gear in store.
No spectators are allowed down onto the gym floor. Apologies, but due to guidelines we want to make sure it is safe for all athletes and our team - 2021 we go BIGGER!

Keen to upgrade your workout gear? All athletes will receive 15% of Under Armour product as well as WIT product in-store all weekend.
WARM UP
You can then proceed downstairs into the gym. At the base of the stairs will be a warm up area with mobility equipment - Theraguns etc - please keep your mask on while you are in this area. You can bring your bags down here - no bags on the gym floor. There will also be a warm up area inside the gym which will have equipment such as bikes, barbells, DBs etc so you can warm up. We will also have some Optimum Nutrition and Fresh Fitness Food snacks in here.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please arrive 30 minutes before your start time. Ideally, please arrive with your partner, this will make check in more efficient. Upon arrival -
- Get your temperature taken
- Sanitize your hands
- Check in at the reception desk
- Collect your Under Armour Turf Games top - you will need to let us know your size
- Pick up your wristbands
- Sign the COVID waiver and get ready for your start time.
At ALL times prior to your start time, unless you are seated, you will need to wear a facemask while in the reception/change rooms/store of WIT. You will not need to wear one while inside the actual gym while competing, outside or sitting down. If you are inside the gym watching you will need to wear a facemask.
We will have a photoboard inside the venue - at some point while you are at the venue we would like to get a shot of all pairs during the day in their Turf Games tops so make sure you get one before you leave.
Due to restrictions, spectators or non-competing athletes will not be allowed inside the WIT Gym to limit numbers. You will however be allowed inside the store to shop both pre and post your workouts.
Each workout is maximum 10 minutes, you will have at least 5 minutes between workouts. So, for example, if you booked into 1.45 pm when you purchased your entry, your workouts will be 1.45pm, 2pm, 2.15pm, 2.30pm. If at the end of the day there are pairs on the same points, the pair with the most 'higher place' finishes will finish above.
DURING THE WORKOUTS
Although you will be working as a team, each athlete will have their own piece of equipment - this doesn't mean that you won't need to work as a team and discuss your tactics. We ask that you don't share equipment and you stick to the one assigned to you. Pairs will be socially distanced in lanes and we ask within your pair you try and stay 1m+ apart as often as you can. All equipment will be cleaned down after each pair has used it ready for the next pair.
You must sanitise your hands before you start each workout. You may bring your own chalk, but please do not share. Lifting shoes, lifting belts, wrist/knee straps are allowed, but nothing that covers the palm of the hand
ONCE FINISHED
Your workouts will take approximately 60 minutes. Once finished your last workout, if you can make your way off the gym floor and follow the same protocols as when you arrive - masks to be worn inside unless sitting down and please sanitise your hands after your last workout. The changerooms and bathrooms at WIT will be open - showers will be closed. Please do not hang around the gym or change rooms etc. If you could please leave the downstairs area within 5-10 minutes of your workouts finishing and head back up to the store.
